totalwarman
This is a shame. The problem with the game of the year 2011 did not deserve any attention from AMD. Its incredible how they broke a game ,five months after the release,is simply incompetence and total disregard for consumers. They found the problems with 12.2 version and in the next one the issues still there. This problem could be fixed with roll-back,but could cause more problems to,I try to roll back to my 12.1 version (I jump the 12.2),and lost most of my CCC proprieties. You also could turn off the AA. a good solution for people who pay +150 Euro for a GC. Edited March 13, 2012 by totalwarman
RitualBlack
You should be able to roll back to 12.1. It works really well with Skyrim (I don't stutter or lag at all on my laptop using ultra). What properties are you loosing with the rollback?
totalwarman
I lost most of CCC options only could see something related with energy and desktop have to reinstall the 12.3. But thats not a reasonable solution,Its a obligation to AMD fix it son.
Brandy1123
I myself have been a loyal Radeon user for the past 8 years with upgrades about every 18 months. I don't purchase low end cards and have been running crossfired GPU's since their release. Looking at the support recently given ( or not as the case really is) whenever I have posed a problem or issue and for the blatent lack of support for this game. - Previously stated Game of the Year. I can assure this is my last purchase supporting their hardware. I'm in a pretty influential position with regards to suggesting hardware and professional system builds. I can gaurantee they will see a drop in sales from my experience with them and the lack of support they give me. With Nvidea cards, the line of support, the tweaking tools and the online assessment, how can you not want to purchase from and support that company. I still love my Radeon, but a divorce seems imminant. Edited March 13, 2012 by Brandy_123
totalwarman
I always support AMD and ATI to, when they are two separated enterprises, but what makes me mad is that the problem was reported in the 12.2 version and not solved in the 12.3 as it was been a minor or even a no problem. People spend many money in a card to play games with all features on ,and now after five months they force us to play a game with no AA or roll back. And nothing tell us that the problem will be fixed in the future. Edited March 13, 2012 by totalwarman
Tom2681
Errmm... I have the same specs as you (HD6870, Catalyst 12.3RC, Skyrim 1.4) and don't have that issue.Have you tried multisample anti-aliasing instead of supersample? My game runs perfect, so I wonder if your problems are related to CCC or skyrimprefs settings. EDIT:Looking at your video, it could be anisotropy-related as well. ginnyfizz
I would agree with Tom2681. Also what does Skyrim being (undeserved IMHO) Game Of The Year exactly have to do with this issue? Skyrim itself has a lot of issues, we all know that.
BigBodZod
I have a 6970 and do not see this issue either. I also use the FXAA Post Injector, maybe this has something to do with it then.
