Issues downloading mods

I have been running into issues for the past week trying to download mods to set up on Skyrim. About a week back I downloaded Mod Organizer 2 to try it out, see how good the vaunted virtualization worked for me. Suffice to say, the program wasn't working for me, so I switched back to NMM. Unfortunately, one of the problems I was having that I thought was related to MO2 apparently is happening with NMM as well. I have a list of 8 mods that absolutely will not download and install properly, and searching around on the forums and posts for those mods doesn't shed any light on the matter. When I download them, I end up with one of three problems:
mod downloads, fails to extract at all and NMM can't even add the mod;
mod downloads, adds properly to the mod list, but during install I get "File is corrupted. Data error has occurred.";
or I get to the same point as the last problem and get a CRC error instead.

I have tried downloading manually and adding the mods into NMM that way, but it doesn't change anything. I have tried downloading on my wifes computer and transferring to mine, no change. I reinstalled Skyrim, NMM and all the mods, and those eight mods still don't work. I tried subscribing to nexus and using the premium NA server, no change. Before reinstalling Skyrim I even went through and did chkdsk, cleaned all the junk off my HDD, and then did a free memory wipe through CCleaner, nothing changed.

The mods that aren't working for me are:

Rustic Clothing

Immersive Armors

Improved Bards

Static Mesh Improvement Mod

Falskaar

Stunning Statues of Skyrim

INIGO

Undead Remastered

Sizes for those mods are all on the larger side, but other large mods like Legacy of the Dragonborn seemed to install without a hitch, so I don't see size being the limiting factor here. I've run out of options at this point, and since a lot of the mods I want to use are based on those mods listed, it's very difficult for me to try and get into a game without some of my favorite mods.

Most likely it is a site-to-NMM error. Make sure you are running the correct version of NMM (0.63.17), too, and make sure NMM's settings aren't wonky, either. I'm thinking it's probably because you have an outdated NMM version--hopefully, that's it so it's an easy fix. Otherwise, you might want to pm a site admin and see what they have to say.

The final version of NMM can be found here. They will not be updating it again.

Yeah, it was kind of hidden away. Glad you were able to update it and get some of them in. It could just be the site, like I said. Sometimes it does that to me, too. Anytime I make a fresh install, I empty my downloads folder, and then make a back up of it when I have all my mods. Try running it through a different web browser? They do mention in the article about windows may throw some errors as their certificate lapsed. That could also be a part of it. Make sure that it's whitelisted in the Windows Defender or your AV.
