Fortunado3
So if the land to the south and west is just window dressing, then why did they build several different roads into it? Seems like a waste of time unless they eventually connect them to something. It seems pretty obvious that those roads go somewhere in somebody's plans. If it is there for modders, then how do we get to it? You can only go a few steps past the gates. I'm sure some of you know how to break the boundary, but I would guess that would result in a pretty odd experience considering how empty the landscape is. There is room for a great deal of work before it is ready to be played in. In fact it is just perfect for developing some involved and complex extensions of the game. If it is done by dozens of different modders, it will result in a very inconsistent experience without some kind of underlying structure, which is completely missing right now.Its for modders. Beth already said we are not going back to a province we've already been to. What Beth says>What random forum members think. Fortunado3
Hope not, those all sound terrible. Wow, you don't understand Skyrim do you? Don't expect one like the "Hammerfell Riders" or anything like that. What are you going on about? 'Not understanding Skyrim' is people that think the lands west and south east of Skyrim are DLC when its blatantly obvious they are there for high altitude draw distances, or think that the Dwemer are coming back. 'Not understanding the Elder Scrolls series' is people that think we are going to another full province or back to one we've already been to, when Beth already said we wouldn't. I know more about ES than you ever will, fail less next time. Anyway, we basically already have a DLC in a mod. Its called Moonpaths:Elsweyr. Heh, nice joke. I've been playing since Arena. And Beth hasn't released ANYTHING yet, and never said anything about "new provinces" or "not returning." And btw, it's "TES" not "ES."Actually they did say we wont be going back to a province we've already been to, nor will a full province be DLC. Obvious first timer is obvious. Know more about ES, newb. ES=TES, lol at the ill informed. Edited March 14, 2012 by Fortunado3

SubjectProphet
I'm not going to start a flame war with a troll here. I'll just wait for a moderator to handle this. Quick edit: Didn't say anything about you not knowing anything about Skyrim, I was trying to get a point that you should try to pay more attention to current news. End discussion. With that over, everyone, I hope this gets back on topic. Edited March 14, 2012 by SubjectProphet

The closest thing may be the Dwemer, but even that's doubtful since Beth has said they have no plans of bringing back extinct races through any means. Next time, don't throw assumed inferences around and neither will I. Edited March 14, 2012 by Fortunado3

The northern reach of Hammerfell could involve the resistance against the Dominion. Cyrodil, well, I don't know, just an unfinished land scape I guess. Cyrodil, well, I don't know, just an unfinished land scape I guess. We were in Hammerfell in Daggerfall, so that's likely out, unless they just did the the Elinhir, south of the Alik'r. Time travel would involve another dragon break and since we just had one with the end of the Skyrim MQ, I doubt there's another, especially to bring back the Dwemer. I figure the first one or two DLCs may be rather bland and are part of the Skyrim Map, before there's an actual expansion, or huge DLC. Beth (Todd) said that they wouldn't at first, then latter recanted (Pete) and said they would make full fledged expansions, opposed to Fallout type DLC, or Ob plug ins. Brandy1123
Very nice. Another flame war. I wonder who's gonna get the most subnested quotes going before this one gets locked. I liked the start of it all. The Elder Scroll, the time scar, and the possibilities for what it means. If someone fails to see possibilities in that alone, I feel sorry for their lack of creativity and imagination. I hope whoever it is, they find some joy in playing this game. Its too bad there is not a contingency for what happens if you do or if you don't destroy the big "P" at the point of entry/exit. He alone could be the key to the whole mess. It was said he was there at the start and was not destroyed when all others failed. Edited March 14, 2012 by Brandy_123
