marharth
It is really bad that people are willing to pay for a ending. It is completely horrendous that people actually prefer to pay for a ending over just having a bad ending. Please quit letting companies milk you. spets21
its funny how people are willing to pay for a new ending even if you know we're getting scammed. it was such a self-destructive ending that people will hope for anything then the crap bioware pulled. but ive accepted the fact that bioware just made poorly thought out and flat out lazy endings. It is really bad that people are willing to pay for a ending. It is completely horrendous that people actually prefer to pay for a ending over just having a bad ending. Please quit letting companies milk you. Yeah it's just sad that bioware pulled this s*** on us Fans Damn, I just finished my PT #3 with Tali as my Romance and the photo thingy really! BIOWARE? Lazy farts *Cry.... I`m soo Disappointed well here`s ); to hoping that Liara's Romance will be much better on my next PT ,than my previous 3........ Halororor
I'd pay for a new ending. Anything to wash away this disappointment. I haven't been left this disappointed with the conclusion to a great story in my entire life.
Povuholo
If publishers find out people are willing to fork over money for a better ending of a game we're in real trouble. I heard Final Fantasy XIII-2 players are already getting screwed over by having the game end on a 'to be continued' note with DLC coming in the future for the real ending. spets21
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2012/03/19/bioware-undecided-over-changing-mass-effect-3-39-s-endings.aspxI`m still hoping they will change the ending by releasing a Free DLC for the game which we already paid for but after looking at the red EA logo on my DISC my hopes is slowly disappearing. anyweiz i heard from a friend that ME3 is now down 20$ for sale lol it's like what 2 or 3 weeks from release? goddamn! dunno if this is true does anyone have an accurate info about this. Halororor
I don't mind paying for extra content at all if it's worth it. Considering the good investment that ME3 already was, I don't mind in the least. So let's break it down. My country uses South African Rands as currency. I paid R350 (roughly the equivalent of US$50) for my ME3 CE pre-order. My total time played in SP according to my latest save is 36 hours. Seeing as MP doesn't track time played, I'm going to make a rough guess and say I've probably spent about 20 hours on it so far, seeing as I played it just about non-stop over the weekend. That places me at about 56 hours spent on the game, but let's bring it down to 50 hours to account for idle time in SP, and other factors which might have wasted time. That means I essentially paid R7 an hour for ME3. And that's only on one playthrough and there's still going to be a lot of time pushed into MP. To put it in perspective, in my country, the average movie ticket is anything between R35 - R50. A standard McDonalds meal is anything from R30 - R40. A can of Coke is about R7. The way I see it, I've gotten more than my money's worth with this game, even if the ending sucked. I'll gladly pay up to $10 if Bioware would be willing to fix their crap ending for me. 62firelight
I still take games from Bioware, but now I'll take a 'wait-and-see' approach, just to try not to waste my money. Also, Bioware should learn from this so games in the future will provide endings that actually have a sense of closure. My view (it's just my opinion.): Bioware + EA = Greedy couple. Bioware + Microsoft = Good mix, though ME wouldn't have been on PS3 then.
Illiad86
About the Tali photo, I will just leave this here. Spoiler obviously. http://cdn.gamerant.com/wp-content/uploads/Tali-Unmasked-Mass-Effect-3.jpg LOL are you serious? Wow. I always wondered what she looked like under that mask...that's quite upsetting. Boy, there are memes everywhere for this ending. I haven't seen it, but from what you have all said, it sucks. I only played the first game (and hated it), so I can't really say much about the rest of the series.
