AerhartOne
Edit: I think maybe I've not been clear about the problem I'm having. I'm not asking how to get out of the T-pose - I know how to do that. I'm asking what's causing it, and how to stop it from happening in the first place (e.g. is it a broken animation / missing bones in the skeleton? A missing file?). Been searching around, but couldn't find anything about this issue so I thought I'd ask here. As in the title, when I use the slm command on the player and select "Body", the character immediately goes into a T-Pose. In addition, the camera does not change position when I do so. I thought it might be one of my mods, but I disabled all of them and validated files via Steam and the issue persisted. Does anyone have any thoughts about what might be causing this? Thanks very much for your time. Edited November 11, 2017 by CodeVertigo
WastelandAssassin
the console command does what is intended , it doesn't open character creation like you get when you start a new gameif you want to tweak your character with this command , just go to 3rd person mode , and look at your character from the front , then open the console and use the commandas for the T pose , it happened to me as well . it doesn't cause a problem , because it resets once you move , so you aren't locked with this pose as is always the case with these games , it's best to use the character creation when you start a new game , to overhaul your looksand the game actually has the integrated hairdressing and cosmetic surgery , which allows you to customize your character in gamethe only thing you can't do (I think) is change your body in game , for which you need the console commandit works , but it's definitely not perfect
AerhartOne
Well, I understand what this console command does, since I've used it quite regularly in the past. What is puzzling me is that I used to be able to select "Body" to get the camera to zoom in, then back out of that menu to get the camera focusing on the face. Now, however, the character simply T-poses, and the camera doesn't move - this didn't happen before. This seems to imply that something changed between patches that broke the animation, but I'm just looking for some help figuring out what. I understand that you're saying that the T-pose doesn't matter, but what is currently problematic is that the camera does not reposition in the way it used to. I've been working around it with TFC 1, but that's been getting a little irritating, so I'd like to solve the problem at its root if I can. WastelandAssassin
well , I have to admit I've only used this command this week (for the first time in FO4) , so I don't know if it behaved differently in the pastso I honestly thought that this is how it always was , rather than some bug (though if it behaved differently in the past , it might be one)and considering how buggy these games can be , and how Bethesda seem to break their own game with updates and such , I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually a bug just did a quick google search , found some videos from 2015 that indeed show the behavior you described (where using the body section actually shows the body , like when initially creating your character)so I guess it's truly something Bethesda broke since release
JimmyRJump
When coming out of the showlooksmenu, draw your weapon and your character will get out of the T-Pose ;)
Cube13
You can also toggle the camera view from 1st person to 3rd person after you are done to get rid of the t pose.

The only difference is I can't get out of it. The cause is Fallout4Custom.ini. If you have [Archive]bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal= in your Fallout4Custom.ini, it might be the cause.
