KillerSkark1978
You start to take the actions of the NPC's in the game way to seriously . For example the flicking point for me when I realised I take this game way to seriously was during the Lights Out mission in Solitude with Jaree-Ra, when I was double crossed by Jaree-Ra my mind just flicked a switch and I went on a rampage like never before, usually I am really methodical about how I play my missions, I travel back to home base before travelling to a new area and take serious thought into what I want to take on the mission with me, I even use many different followers and take the time to sort there equipment out as well. But that all went to pot when I was betrayed by Jaree-Ra who is a scum bag anyway who I was considering killing anyway been betrayed by hi8 or not,, I just ran straight up to the cave where he was hiding with am anger craving revenge that would not rest till I watched him die. Even then I knew killing him, his sister and every last one of his weak ass posse would not be enough to satisfy the rage I had running in me, no way lucky for me I have the black version of the Azura Star and it way empty, so not only was I out to kill this character I was saving the Star just for him so I could take his soul, and not only did I take his Soul I used it to Enchant the very Sword which I used to chop off his head, That Sword now has a sentimental value to me that I will never part with and is on display in a proud position inside a case in the mod room where I store all my gear, and every now and then I just take that sword out and give it a few swings round the basement or take it with me on a little run round Whiterun just swinging it in the air to rejoice in the seance of vengeance I that I feel when holding that sword up high for all other NPC's in the game to see and feel as if I am spreading a message to all the NPC;s that I see stating very clearly this is what you get if you ever cross me lol. Every since then I have started been really picky about who's Soul I capture in the Star, not just any Grand soul will do no ways, it has to be someone I really feel some sense of passion about wanting to kill for reasons I feel personal about,, other victims of my soul capture revenge have been the leader of the Silver Hand, The Skooma dealer in Riften and some random Theft who was stupid enough to think he could rob me, obviously he had no idea who he was f*c*ing with, if fools like that who make me wish someone would make a Mod where I could collect the head of my fallen victims and mount then on a stick and leave it stuck in the ground right outside my house, or use then to create a big chain which I can carry around with me just to wave in frond of other NPC;s in the game just like the Persian Messenger in the film 300. xlcr
hi KillerSkark1978, just a suggestion, you may want to edit your post and hide the contents of your Jaree-Ra quest narrative in spoiler quotes as a courtesy to nexus members who have not yet started the 'Lights Out!' quest.. KillerSkark1978
yea the spoilers did occur to me but then I thought come on seriously, there is that much going on in this game and just so many missions that is it really going to ruin someone's game to know that Jaree-Ra is a low life peace of dirty that deserves worse than just a standard death in some small side quest irrelevant to any main line mission , and and besides 99% of people readin this topic will already know this and as for the other 1% unlucky u know now something about a NPC you will meet in some small side mission, well the good news is now you can think you some ripe worthy way to kill some scum bag NPC character who will betray you, dam personalty I would thankful for the head up and devise some punishing death sequence reserved specially for those who you feel deserve a more memorable death.
