Can someone advise me on how to fix missing textures from using mods for XBox One? I've been using a few mods during my play through for a while now with no problems and today I decided to revisit the game after a break for a month or two, suddenly the game crashed during a fight with some feral ghouls and when I reloaded it I noticed me and companion had glowing white/multicolored eyes and the blood splatter was giving the same effect. I disabled ALL mods in my load order and loaded several save games and it's not fixed the problem, as if the textures were deleted from the base game!

Here is my load order.

  • True Storms: Wasteland Edition
  • Assault Carbine
  • NCR Veteran Ranger Armor
  • Tactical Armor
  • Settlement Supplies Expanded
  • Cut Weapon Mods Restored
  • WWII Colt 1911
  • Workshop Turret Pack
  • Mosin Nagant
  • SCAR-LK Assault Rifle
  • Settlement Limits Slashed
  • Finch Farm and Graygarden Overpass Lifts
  • Enhanced Blood Textures Basic
  • Everyone's Best Friend
  • Infinite Ammo for Companions
  • M1 Garand
  • Ponytail Hairstyles
  • Visible Galaxy 4k
  • Plenty 'o' Exploration
  • Realistic Sounds
  • Ellen the Cartographer
  • Blacksmith's Crafting Expansion
  • Crowded Commonwealth
  • Dogmeat's Backpack
  • Chinese Assault Rifle
  • Grenade Expansion Pack
  • Loving Cait
  • Realistic Ragdoll Force
  • Loving Curie
  • Deadly Gunners of the Commonwealth
  • Desert Eagle
  • Rockin' Red Rocket
  • RPG-7V2
  • Chinese Stealth Suit
  • Enclave X-02 Power Armor
  • Heather Casdin
  • Hunting Shotgun
  • NPCs Don't Use Ammo
  • Hellfire X-03 Power Armor
  • Alien Assault Rifle
  • Modular Kalash
  • KREBS AK
  • Companion's Kill XP

As you can see I don't have any body replacer or eye mods, I tried just disabling Enhanced Blood but that didn't work plus it wouldn't account for the eye bug right?

Hopefully someone here can shed some light on the problem and help me fix this, if not can you point me in the right direction? Thanks

This is a vanilla bug introduced by the last patch. I've been trying to fix it with little luck. I thought I had but then after a few hours it came back. It happens to every XB1 player modded game or not.

Ah FFS that's annoying, guess i'll have to shelve the game again until they fix it I can't play the game like this. Thanks for letting me know

Ya it's annoying to say the least and just goes to show the lack of quality control testing going on over there, because it can't be missed.

Edit: doing a hard reset on your XB1 can temporarily fix the issue but it always eventually comes back.

I tried a hard reset which fixed the blood decals but not the eyes, I can't be bothered messing around with this...what a weird engine this game must use that allows textures to randomly disappear!

People over on Beth.net are reporting other strange things even Mutant hounds that are white with absolutely no textures. I has something to do with the wetness you see it get really bad when it's raining. Everything goes ultra shiny and funky.

In my game even Codsworth has a funky dull look to him.

Edit you might want to have a look at this

The support forum exploded only seconds after the update went live.

Yeah looks like something got corrupted with pretty much most decals...well if nothing else I got a laugh out of all this  although i'm slightly concerned Beth didn't respond in the thread given it's quite a big f*** up on their part, fingers crossed they don't expect mod authors to patch this before they do!

It's something more then the textures and the Materials used by the decals though. I tried to fixed by using the ones from my PC game that doesn't have the issue. It seemed to work at first but then it came back.

I'm still messing around with it but, I haven't had much luck.

Well with my potato computer i'm not even gonna try and run this for pc so i'm just speculating from past experience, probably best to just wait for an official fix imo given it's such a glaring error I assume Beth would do something about it sooner rather than later anyway.
