Wewpt
Hi. Decided to start a new game, once I had all my mods functioning correctly (I played through the game and tested extensively using this site and other guides as needed). In my old saves, no problems, no issues whatsoever. But in my new game, even right from the start with very few mods enabled (fresh installs), I keep getting "Fists (2)" items in my Weapons inventory and I can't figure out why or how to get rid of them. *Note : When I switch to unarmed, removing held weapons, my hands temporarily glow. I have SPERG, CACO (Complete Alchemy and Crafting Overhaul), and SkyTweak installed, have tried resetting all 3, I even went as far as to delete and reinstall Skyrim itself and deleting ALL user data, profiles, etc. and reinstalling-reactivating my mods. I can only guess that one of them is the culprit as they are the only mods that make any changes other than USLEEP and other recommended patches to the game itself. All my other mods are visual tweaks only. Anyone ever heard of this? Any idea how to fix? Thanks in advance.
Thenryb
I get those with a mod called "One handed fists".
Shadeybladey
Were the fresh mod installs made for the version of Skyrim you are running and are not old, abandoned mods? If you have USLEEP, this should be the Legendary Edition. And you followed any uninstallation instructions prior to upgrading the mods to a new version? Otherwise, I can't think of anything except load order or maybe some mod affecting Unarmed Combat. If the latter, maybe it's meant to be like that and only shows on starting a new game? Some mods need a fresh start to kick in properly. Good luck, maybe someone else will be of more help. :(
lofgren
SPERG also adds these.
Wewpt
Turns out it was a compatibility setting in SPERG, you're right. I'd changed it to disabled. Changed it back to Automatic and problem solved. :) Thanks all.
