BottledPhoenix
Hi, so before I explain the problem let me point out that I am pretty new to using the creation kit other than watching some basic tutorials. Also I am using Mod Organizer and I have added bAllowMultipleMasterFiles=1 and bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 to SkyrimEditor.ini and I have added Dawnguard.bsa, HearthFires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa to the SResourceArchiveList2 line. Ok so the problem I am having is that when I try to load the SuccubusRaceLite.esp (from the succubus race mod which can be found here (you can only click on the "h" in "here" because I can't figure out how to make the hyperlink extend to the entire word)) I get this error: followed by one of the normal "yes to all" errors, and then "Creation Kit has stopped working." I can't figure out how to fix this has anyone experienced this issue before or know how to fix it?
agerweb
This Assertion is a standard error - you should select ignore? Have you checked to see if the Succubus esp will load correctly into TesVEdit. Also have you checked you can load up the CK without this mod (just select Skyrim.esm and the DLC). Also, also, for the one letter link problem: To make a link in this editor, highlight the text you want to be the link then click the link button and paste in the link. Should I attempt to clean the .esp with TesVEdit? EDIT: made a backup of the mod and tried cleaning it with TesVEdit it seems to be already cleaned. greyday01
Did you try checking for errors with TES5? How about redownloading the ESP?
BottledPhoenix
Did you try checking for errors with TES5? How about redownloading the ESP?checking for errors with TES5 gives me this:[00:00] Checking for Errors in [02] SuccubusRaceLite.esp[00:00] SuccubusPreset07Illya "Prisonner" [NPC_:020501EE][00:00] NPC_ \ Tint Layers \ Layer \ TINI - Tint Index -> <Tint layer index 1363 not found in SuccubusRace "Succubus" [RACE:02000D62]>[00:00] SuccubusPresetLucretia "Lucretia" [NPC_:0204909A][00:00] NPC_ \ Tint Layers \ Layer \ TINI - Tint Index -> <Tint layer index 1363 not found in SuccubusRace "Succubus" [RACE:02000D62]>[00:00] SuccubusPreset02 "Prisoner" [NPC_:0202441A][00:00] NPC_ \ Tint Layers \ Layer \ TINI - Tint Index -> <Tint layer index 1363 not found in SuccubusRace "Succubus" [RACE:02000D62]>[00:00] All Done! and redownloading the esp doesn't help. greyday01
Maybe if you used TES5 to delete those 3 presets? Unless someone can tell you how to add a missing Tint Layer with TES5 since you can't load it with CreationKit.

BottledPhoenix
I managed to fix the issue by moving the esp for the succubus race and racecompatibility into the main skyrim data directory then moving it back to the mod organizer directory. I managed to make the edits to the mod that I wanted to make and it works.
agerweb
I had assumed that you had the esp in the data directory. I would stick to that approach until you have worked out how to configure the MO to work with the CK correctly. Can't help with that as I don't use it.
