Neverwinter Nights complete (both games and all expansions) available

While I don't normally like to do cross-site advertising across all the Nexus sites unless it affects all of the sites, this offer is just too good to pass up, and links up nicely with our recent launch of Neverwinter Nexus.

Today only, and in fact as of the time of writing for only 9 hours more, the complete Neverwinter Nights series of games is available on Gamer's Gate for £5 (that's about $7.50 USD). This package includes both Neverwinter Nights games and all of their official expansions. That's a big 75% saving on how much it normally costs, and Steam doesn't have the original Neverwinter Nights for sale (from what I can tell), and NWN2 costs £14.99. So it's a real bargain. You can grab it here.

If you've never played the series, lost your copies, or planned to play the series but were waiting for the right time I think you'll find this is the best time to buy the games. Heck, pick them up and save them for a rainy day, just make sure you buy it within the next 9 hours. The Neverwinter Nights series is one of the best RPGs to grace the gaming world and you really should have a part of it.

Now, back to your originally scheduled programming.

Thanks for the heads up, Dark0ne. I don't think my Steam version had all of the expansions and certainly not NWN1, I have the disk somewhere but, this as a package solves all those probs! About to install.

-Just thought I'd list off a few more details about this deal for those of you who would rather not go out on a limb.

-First off, this game comes from the listed website digitally, that means it's a direct download to your computer. The good thing about this is that you don't need to pay S&H which is outrageous for trans-Atlantic purchases. The bad thing is that according to the main page it's a 10.25GB download. However, their game downloader says it's 11GB. Anyway that means that if you're running a low connection speed it could take you several days to download. However, if you're like me and have a download speed of about 1.5mbs, you'll get the full package in roughly 2 hours.

-Once the download is finished, you'll have to install the game like any other game. That means you'll need the Product Serial Keys. These keys can be found on the page that you initially downloaded the game from. Simply follow the link in Dark0ne's post again, if you're still logged in then look to the left side of your screen and look under My Library then under My Shelf, you'll see a link for "Dungeons and Dragons...", click it. Now click the game again and on the right side of your screen will be details telling you the Product Serial Keys for both NWN1 and NWN2 as well as both games DLC.

-Secondly, the exact-ish cost for Americans (According to PayPal) is roughly $8.04 which is a huge deal!! Especially considering the fact that you can easily sink 200 hours into these games (Not including User made content).

-Thirdly, even if you already have the games on disc, it couldn't hurt to spend $8 to essentially give yourself a permanent digital backup, seeing as the site allows you to download the game multiple times (much like Amazon).

-As for the time remaining on this sale, it's about 8hours. That means that if you live on the West Coast, you'll have until March 15th @ 1am. If you're on MDT (Like me) then you have until March 15th @ 2am. Finally if you live on the East Coast, you have until March 15th @ 4am. And if Google isn't lying to me, then you guys over there in the UK have until 8am...because I believe it's already midnight there lol...Hope that gives you some perspective on time lol !

-I hope this helped a little bit as that's kind of what I was going for lol. Feel free to PM me I guess if you feel you really need to haha.

Woah, is England somewhere between the West coast and East coast of the US!? :psyduck:

Maybe...or perhaps their website compensates for the timezone of the connected computer's IP Address? Hmm...I'll get back to on that one haha...

**EDIT**

Well, the site tells me that the sale ends in just under 8hours...It's just after 6pm here sooo 8 hours from now puts the end of the sale for MDT people (which is me) at 2am...damn I'm an hour off hold on lemme edit that post >.>

**EDIT**

There, now maybe that's more chronologically accurate haha!

There's a reason I don't make watches...

**EDIT**

Actually I think I found my problem, GMT doesn't stand for what I thought it did lol...I assumed it was General Mountain Time (as that's what everyone around here says) it actually stands for Greenwich Mean Time, I shouldn't even be in college at this rate...let me just go and edit a few words, again...
