Nice to find this topic, I'm also surprised there is no Warhammer insipred mods here.. only Manga, female mods everywhere... one Armor "Demon Hunter" that reminds me a lot of Witch Hunters... ok so about Warhammer, forget Orcs vs. Empire vs. Chaos this is everywhere in Warhammer games. What I want to bring here is most forgotten Army...

 

That is Vampire Counts, we have Dawnguard which is featuring Vampire Castle, Vampire Lord form and all sort of awesome things... why not recreate some great armors/weapons/creatures/spells inspired by this armies.

Wish I could have a skills in modding... I'd do this with pleasure.. got no experience, but if there is any talented modder interested then would be nice to see some work :)

If I could only operate all these stuffs for creating new armors/weapons etc. then I'd definitely go with Warhammer inspiration it is my fav. Dark Fantasy Universe and very neglected.

 

After reading one of the Vampire Counts inspired book, then I look at the Skyrim and think how awesome it would be to see it in there.

I could believe that about 75% of warhammer stuff is related to Spess Mehreens, their armors, bolters and such, and thus not many want to take a look at those, as those don't fit into Skyrim well.

They don't know about the everything else úber cool Warhammer has, which is somewhat "lore friendly", or at least looks like it fits into Skyrim.

 

I am fan of Warhammer series myself. Or games that are based on Warhammer? How do I say it?

Blood Bowl and Dawn of War that is.

 

Anyhow, it's not Forum's fault if your request doesn't immediately get attention.

If you pay attention, you'd notice that only about 15% of request topics get "good" feedback, discussions and so on.

And maybe 45 % of the said 15% is getting in-game as mod.

Anyway, I hope that someone would do some things related to Warhammer.

I could believe Blood Bowl is closer in visual style than WH 40k/ Dawn of War?

Warhammer Mark of Chaos was decent game... pitty that it's dead already, no mod support and no community at all. I know guys at SEGA/ Creative Assembly are working on Total War based on Warhammer, and I do hope it's gonna be Fantasy not 40k, too much of it out there, there from THQ.

 

Anyways as for Skyrim mod it would fit perfectly well Castle Volkihar or mod "Castle Orlok", adding some Empire/Bretonia/Vampire Counts themed armors, weapons, creatures etc.

Just another idea, ok so we got Werewolf, Vampire Lord... and I got an idea for new form for Vampires again, but this time Melee variant only and that would be

Varghulf or Vargheist

Varghulfs are mutated wolf-bat creatures, the personification of a Vampire's inner beast. Vampires who give into their darker side become these bloodthirsty creatures, who feed on the blood of humans and the living again and again.

Something changes when one becomes a Vampire, inside them lurks a beast driven to feed on the blood of the living again and again. Many Vampires consider it a curse, something that must be kept in check, an unavoidable price for their powers. These vampires maintain the pretences of mortal existence, moving among the living without revealing their true nature. However not all Vampires care for the trappings of life or seek to control the creature inside. There are a few Vampires who embrace their thirst, allowing the bestial predator within to take over.

 

These vampires transform into the Varghulfs, blood-crazed mutant killers that exist only to wreak destruction and feed on the blood of the living. Varghulfs are like starved wolves or bears, they run rampant and murder whole villages, yet never satisfying their thirst. They slaughter without mercy, luxuriating in bloody carnage. As well as devouring the living, a Varghulf will exhume graves and feed upon the bodies of the dead. Other Vampires consider them repulsive scavengers, and in this they are similar to the Strigoi though nonetheless desirable and deadly fighters despite their uncivilized behavior.

This would be like Werewolf with vicious melee attacks, biting and draining blood from everything on its path.

It would be good to mix some of abilities like Night Cloack, Poison Talons, Detect All Creatures, Blood Healing , Supernatural Reflexes, Savage Feeding (Werewolf) and some new as well :).

so to get this started im going to throw in a couple of my requests:

and maybe a warhammer world overhaul

I really like the idea of the chaos armour set but I think it is too difficult to be made (It is very baroque, with lots of details). I would suggest making Archaon's armor which I think looks badass too. Archaon is my favorite character is the warhammer universe and I would love to see his armor and the slayer of kings in skyrim! It would be amazing making a quest line to get the armor and sword like how Archaon had to get it in his lore.
