First, I'm announcing that my Dawnguard Sentries Plus mod has finally come to Special Edition:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13547/?

That done, I'm also looking for a bit of specific feedback:

For one, I'd like to know what areas outside of cities are other players consistently having issues with vampire attacks. I personally had constant attacks outside of Riften and Solitude, so those cities have exterior patrols. I've been made aware that others have experienced issues around the stables at Whiterun however. (never had an attack there in my game). I want my mod to provide the best coverage possible without making the dawnguard look like an invading army.

Also, I'm open to suggestions for future improvements to the mod. I want to add working "shifts" to the dawnguard for starters, so it's not the same guys standing around 24/7 without sleep. I've thought about working out a way so that if the vampire faction wins the Dawnguard missions that the Dawnguard is replaced by vampires or something along those lines also. Going full blast there seems morelike why the other vampires turned on Harkon, but perhaps some sort of a more subtle presence....

Ah, good to see this. I've always liked that mod. The lack of it here inspired me to put out extra Whiterun and Riverwood guards. Now I'll have both.

My experience with Vamp attacks in/around Whiterun is they either come in the gate behind me, or are already up between Adrienne's shop and Breezehome, heading back toward the gate. When I have attacks at the stables, they seem to come from the direction of the meadery, along the road, but may or may not cut the corner by that piece of wooden walkway. Outside is usually deathhounds, in my experience. The way I did my guards was 2 out at the stables, standing/sitting near the carriage, and one inside the gate, who is usually accompanied by the vanilla guard. They seem to be able to notice the vamps that way.

In Riverwood, they most frequently come in from the direction of the guardian stones, but very occasionally from the back gate.

In Riften, it seems like they are already in the market area, near the well, before I finish loading inside the gate. Outside the gate, I haven't noticed any vamp attacks yet, but the beast/bandit attacks seem to come from all directions.

Windhelm, for me, they're always right inside the main gate.

Winterhold, they come from three directions, seems to be a pretty even split, between the road, the hill behind the longhouse, and up under the college bridge.

I don't spend enough time in Markarth or Falkreath to have noticed any real pattern. I don't think I've ever had a non-quest vamp attack in Morthal.

In Dawnstar, they seem to come from the stretch of open snow, behind where the Khajiit camp occasionally, but are most often down by the water, in between the noble's house and the alchemy shop when I load into the town.

Hope that helps some. Vamps seem to hit me pretty heavily, in every play through. One of the reasons I like your mod so much.

Thanks. I have Sentries near those points in the current edition. :) Still good to know / have confirmation that I'm reading the spawn points correctly in the CK though.

I'm mainly interested in the exterior areas like stables at this point. I'm planning a HUGE overhaul and upgrade, and I'd like to be able to cover areas that I've previously missed. No details though, I've got too many copycats out there already.
