SirTwist
I believe this is an actual game bug, not any mod problem. Here goes. Somewhere on the western part of the map, between Sunshine Co-op and Radio Relay 0BB-915, I get a CTD. I am not sure how big, but I have tried without mods, and with. And even only some, and same thing happens. I just wonder if it's the actual game. My mods list is extensive, but I have attached it to this post, I do use the latest iteration of Mod Organizer 2. I am going to try running it vanilla, without all the mods, and see what's what. I may either edit this post, or leave a comment. If I leave one right after this, I am not bumping the topic to get any attention, I am just filling in things. Okay, I tried running just F4SE, and I got through the area cleanly. Not running it through anything, just ran F4SE. I just wonder if it was some of my mods, or what. Anyway, going to try something else. Like taking one mod off until I get to the bottom of the problem.
JimmyRJump
Wasn't there a similar bug in about that area when Nuka World was released? Where folk would get a CTD when approaching the Nuka World train station from a certain angle? Doesn't explain of course why you can walk around scott free when all mods are disabled... gamefever
A clean test should be done with a clean save that has not ever had a taste of the mods.Simply removing a mod doesn't always mean that the save is clean of that mod and that is certainly in the case of scripted mods, which there are quite a few I imagine in that load order of yours. But consequences of deactivated mods mid-game are usually felt further down the line. When loading a save from right before a glitch/CTD and deleting mods one at a time and again reloading the same save, there's no real harm in it in the immediate run. I'm far from an expert, but, I had close to twelve-thousand hours in FO4 with around two-thousand or more mods tried, including trials for soon-to-be-released mods on a load of 450 mods with 255 plug-ins and never had severe issues in the short term with reloading saves when things went awry. Again, this doesn't make me all-knowing. But it gives me more or less an insight of certain things.
