PrometheusTS
Checking the Island and comparing the size of the locations with the City ... I think I may even be able to add 3 more villages instead than just one .... My toughs are along the following ones : 1 ????? Village in the forest near a river , similar to a riverwood but nordic in feel may be more primitive looking? mixing stuff from the fornsworth guys? 2 ?????? Village in a Bay on the other side of the Island , more agricultural and snow free or very few snow , with typical nordic domelike structures 3 Jotunheim Atypical Village built in the side of the Mountain CLiffs with open to the precipes Homes carved in the stone and very well intermixed Exceptionally even a 4th one could be added but that woudl eventually be more of a outpost couse the only left inhabitalbe region is outside the temperate region on the Iceflats or near the Fjord Entrance .... Unleash sugestions please .... Here is a picture of the map and the supposed Village positioning ... I was eventually even thinking of Changing the Very same Name of the Main Capital from Varheim to Issgard , and shift the Varheim name to the more temperate village ... just an idea ... http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/343/issgardmap.jpg
WLionheart
I suggest that village two is more of a fishing village where you can find the needed supplies more like a port really find some "pirate's" and what not more the illegal kind of stuff Edited April 13, 2012 by William Lionheart

PrometheusTS
Ok I come up with the following names : Varheim --> Varheimgard 3 --> Jotunnheim ( Gian'ts Home ) 2 --> Brynnvik ( Clear bay ) 1 --> Sker ( rock ) I guess are enough villages ... each of them will have it's own jarl noble Each village will have it's own Animal Totem .... The idea woudl be the Bear , the Wof and the Hawk probably impersonating the Gods of the Mountains , the woods and the sea , Varheim has the Dragon ... Deleted4240918User
I don't know if this is a good idea, but I was thinking about the animals you're going to use. Bear, wolf, eagle, dragon. Wouldn't be ideal if within Issgard, all these animals lived peacefully among humans and the other animal races? For example; in the the bear village there could be a lot of bears but none of them would harm the humans, in the hawk village there would be a lot of hawks...and since they're not aggressive you wouldn't have to modify anything :) . Well; and in the dragon village; there you could build a sanctuary for an Ancient Dragon; just like Phartanux. A peaceful ancient dragon that lives harmoniously among humans and animals. Of Course, the animals would live NEARBY the villages; perhaps in their surroundings. Edited April 14, 2012 by Guest
