Monolithic Dome or Earthship home

Title says it all. I have been watching some videos on youtube about tiny houses and dome homes. I don't know maybe something a little different to build and decorate. Hell a house built inside a cliff or mound would be sweet.

Just get HM or SSEX (or any other mod that has the large rocks) and build a mountain around a location, with holes inside.

 

Or do you want a player house already made in CK?

Or do you want to be able to build inside terrain? Because your post is not clear, as the title doesn't really tell it all.

I agree! mods is all about customization

better regionalizations -> architecture

and more building parts the merrier!

sadly a lot of folks put it all behind unlisted mods.

there's a few out there, _{if you search in all known languages.}

particularly on the jp and br or ru boards and such.

 

I digress

incidentally,

in a similar thread ~7 months ago or so,

I outlined how you could duplicate the geodesic dome-playground (as seen in sanctuary)

and use triangular-shaped glass...

'anchor' that group-node-association, and scale that as a temp geodesic dome.

it does the job hehe.

 

There's also "that Thunderdome" dome,

Toddsville Snowdome/Santa's Workshop of Horrors (a Halloween creationclub gag)

ploppable reactor bulb/dome etc.

 

 

 

since then, a few folks have made different kinds of domes.

they're in better regionalization -> architectural -> dome.

 

there's a massive one in an allusion to "The Dome",

to put the CIT ruins under hehe. 'the bottle city of Boston".

there's also an Epcot Dome style dome,

and many different conic-segment or truncated hyper-geometries.

 

I hear some folks are making a representation of

the Goetheanum

some are even 'variable geometry' 2D-3D!

such as 'liquid metal' 'alien' stuff, or with unusual diffraction properties...

the bottle-scrap house with leibniz-gasket... with 'stained glass' like colored diffraction 'bubbles'.

it's a hut/wall made from scrap beer and nuka-cola bottles.

 

when you combine all this with

the Memory Den Virtual Holodeck, new lands,

any door to any where etc,

you can make some really complex stuff.

Earthship? You got me hooked! I can start working on this once I update my current mod that I'm working on.

 

Edit: Just wanted to make sure this is what you're talking about when you say Earthship...
