BigDaddyRat
I've been having a hell of a time trying to get my console commands to work on my game, and I also have a bunch of mods which aren't working either. I've checked and my version of fo3 is 1.1.12.0. I s this the latest release?? If so, has the new fose been released for it? I'm at my wits end. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, NMM, and all my downloads and files and cannot get the console to work. This is the only thing I can think of. Ethreon
That game hasn't seen an update in years. If you got the steam version you should be up to date, and FOSE is for the last update of the game regardless of what that update is. How did you acquire the game? BigDaddyRat
My kids got the pack that included fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas that came in the Mini Nuke pack, so it's a few years old, but should have been updated by Steam.

M48A5
If you have the game installed in the default location (Program Files), FOSE or any other mods that make changes to the Fallout3 executablewill not work. Changes to the executable are blocked by the Windows User Account Control and the game must moved to a location outside of the Program Files folder. There are instructions on Steam on how to do this.
