tiberius24 Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 so my problem is that when i try to load my save files i get this message "This save relies on content tht is no longer present", i continue anyway , it works fine but when i go to a room and it starts to load , the game crashes to the desktop without warning, i tried starting a new game, and dis time nothing happend it worked perfectly with no crashes. any one know how to fix this? how can i fix it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tidus44 Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 That message appears if you have removed a mod. Its normal and should not appear again the next time you start the game, after a save. If a mod has been improperly removed or has become corrupted, the message can appear and of course it will cause problems as the game will try and load the mod, but it isn't all there to load, so the game can crash. Most of times the game can recover from that lack, but sometimes it can't and can result in crash. Sometimes the save can be indeed corrupted. MAKE SURE TO BACKUP SAVES B4 BETA TESTING is in their warning, so hopefully you did. but otherwise I have found no fix for it yet at this point. EDIT: Ok i think it is tytanis for me now so I think it became incompatable wit mods and unfort I have way too many mods and I am too lazy to find out if I am right right now, Ill edit this later, that and I haves a date sooo... Edit Edit:GF got sick so I did find the one that was bad, Ok here is a list of my mods and the Incompatable one DeadlyDragonsExtended Colors, Jswords, Bag of Holding, Enchanting Freedom, test(not sure which one this is), auriel_bow,Blood is Everything, crystalis, dyenamicsmithing, engineering, explosive chickens, ghostlier ghostblade, hideout, infinitecharge, isilnarsil, item sorting by saige, joethemudcrab, It_camping, nocturnal, onering, playable dwarf race,meh....
