rosetyler63
So I just started the RoHT questline, and picked Lady Zubadaiah to be a part of it. I can interact with her for quests, but I'm interacting with a large yellow block with a (!) inside. (In fact, you can tell it's a body with no head. I read that she is supposed to look like Vivec.) I realize this is probably a conflict with another mod. I'm currently using Better Bodies and Better Heads, and I suspect this might be the problem. I don't want to disable these for the rest of my game, so before I do, I did want some input from anyone else who might have had this problem. Would this be a mod conflict or something else? (I hope someone responds this time... last time I posted something it appeared that no one read or even viewed it.) Thanks in advance!
pakehafulla
Mate it's a missing texture or mesh, can't remember which. Check you have the mods files loaded to the right places. Best done manually so YOU control where they go.Been there many times. Have funðŽ
Dragon32
That big exclamation thing is a missing mesh Check your warnings.txt, should give the details of exactly what the missing model is called. If it's not clear which mod it is you can use a grep tool (I use TextCrawler) to search your *.es? files for the name of the .nif
rosetyler63
Oh dang, you can probably guess I had quite a bit in the warnings.txt file. I spent a good amount of time on this playthrough, and I'm actually mad about how many textures and meshes weren't actually unpacked. I don't remember having nearly this much trouble with Skyrim mods *sigh*. It appears that NMM only unpacked the data file folder and not the files themselves. I honestly thought using NMM and mlox would be sufficient. Is this why people consider NMM on its last leg? Thanks for the input you fine people! Dragon32
From what I understand NMM is fine for Skyrim and that's about it. I believe people who do use it with Morrowind have to do a fair bit of manual re-packing of mod archives. I dunno, never used it myself.
rosetyler63
What do you use? Wryebash? Or do you manually unpack? Wryebash is unbelievably hard to understand *sigh*

rosetyler63
I'm ashamed I did not view any tutorials sooner. Thank you for posting that video. I learned quite a bit.
