The whole problem is that I'm unsure if some of these mods work as they should and even though I didn't really come across some major problems - I want to make sure everything is in proper order. I recently installed Immersive Citizens and RDO and then i though to myself - do only esp's matter? What about the priority of the mods on the left? So, here it goes (screens):https://imgur.com/a/Asj6a Okay. So that's all. Now, another problem is that I'm getting CTD's. Sometimes right after the game loads (when the "new game" "continue" etc in the menu should pop up). Sometimes after looking at the map, sometimes just when walking. It's nothing regular, sometimes it doesn't happen for a long time, sometimes it tends to happen after 5 minutes of playing. I suppose those are memory problems but, for now, here I will end my assumptions and wait for some help from you, guys! Aaand obviously I forgot about a few things: - my PC spec, important things: - RAM: 8 GB DDR4 - GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 - CPU: Intel Core i5-7600 3.50 GHz - Windows 10 x64 I'm using the NLA ENB and I have used the installation guide from here (along with DynDOLOD): http://www.predcaliber.com/skyrim-1 I have recently created SKSE.ini to (i read so) expand my memory usage for Skyrim but I'm not sure if i created it in the right place:D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Mod Organizer\mods\SKSE Scripts\SKSEI have it here but it's probably wrong. xD Oh, one more maybe important thing, I'm experiencing frequent cases of things loading not so far in front of me, like changing textures or popping trees but I guess that's because of DynDOLOD. Raider5
ENB sometimes causes problems, like CTD, disable HDR bloom, Its been a while since I modded or played oldrim so I know I've forgotten a lot. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373 http://wiki.step-project.com/Main_Page also make sure you keep only a small number of saves and screenshots, believe it or not that can make your game unstable. If you want to keep them, just move all but the most recent to a different folder. Loot and Boss are good for load orders, but sometimes it takes a bit of manual tweaking as well. also script heavy mods can do a number on your game, so be aware of that. look into getting the Skyrim save file cleaner, it can help alot if you have to delete mods. and always make a copy of your clean INIs before modifying them. I'll look through my notes and see if I can find anything else that might help you. But there are much more knowledgeable people on here that will probably show up and offer advice and their extensive knowledge.
Seraffim
I have only one savegame and screenshots only on steam. If you want (or anyone else willing to help) I can copy you ani .ini's configs I use. I haven't really uninstalled many mods since i started. I think the only one I actually deinstalled was Run For Your Lives because Immersive Citizens does it better. But I'm gonna try the savegame cleaner after I get home. Is it perfectly safe? I modify my ini's only through MO INI Editor. Also, I still would like to know - is the list on the left side with mod priority important at all? The overwriting things etc. Edited December 18, 2017 by Seraffim
Raider5
I've never had a problem with the save game cleaner, just be careful on what you remove. did you keep a clean copy of your INI's. I know at one point I had made plenty of changes, all of them recommended, and had crashes out the wazoo. turns out in my case some of the changes clashed with other things and had to revert to a clean ini and start over. Try the skyrim configurator as well.
Seraffim
I'm using the MO INI Edit so MO loads his own inis while starting the game.xDAnd I don't really want to reset them cause it will be a huge pain to search over all of the mods if they required any of the ini changes. ; ; I changed these lines (through MO) to ensure that I don't have any effects fighting with ENB: iMultiSample=0iWaterMultisamples=0iMaxAnisotropy=0 Also, I used savegame cleaner to clean 359 scripts, not much it seems. After I reloaded Skyrim it CTD'd after loading the save, when I did it again everything went fine, seems like again - memory problems. Should I change these in enblocal.ini:ReservedMemorySizeMb=64VideoMemorySizeMb=2000? Okay, I changed them to 512 and 8000, I'm not sure but it seems like the game is running much smoother and doesn't lag almost at all. .-.
