falout4memes
Ok I'm tired of this. I've got these two annoying glitches that i cant seem to find a fix to no matter how much I try. The first one messes with items under junk. It changes their names to something like this: [bottle] Beer Bottle{{{Glass}}}{Scrap} Aluminum Can{{{Aluminum}}}{Scrap} Clipboard{{{Spring, Wood}}} I do not have any item sorting mods installed. I tried installing one of the item sorting mods that are currently popular on the nexus and then un-installed it to see if that could fix it. It didn't. The next one is a language related bug. Some aid items, quests, dialogue, apparel, and weapons are written in German. I've tried installing the German language pack and then uninstalling it and then switching back to English to see if that could fix it. Of course, it didn't. Also 89% Of the mods i have are all workshop related so i highly doubt one of those mods are taking an effect on fallout 4's language system. Also I would have posted images but imgur is all "f*** you" right now. Someone please help me this crap is so f***ing annoying i'm desperate for a solution. Fixed it. KnorKater
"Also 89% Of the mods i have are all workshop related so i highly doubt one of those mods are taking an effect on fallout 4's language system."That can happen if mod creators make dirty edits. You basically look at some entries, or check some objects, and even tho you don't alter something, the CK marks it as changed and saves it. If that happens to someone with a german game, you end up having german words in your game. You should deactivate your mods and activate them a few at a time, until the problem comes up again, so you can find the perpetrator.Oh gosh, I do hope it's not mine, but I did check for dirty edits, I swear! SMB92
The type of items you are referring to aren't usually persistent, as in the aren't usually stuck in the save game so there naming should be whatever the Ck value is (whatever is in the Esp or Esm) so there must be some other patch still touching the names or somehow they've become persistent but this would be very strange. Have you looked in FO4edit at all?

Have you looked in FO4edit at all?No but I have some good news. It turns out "The Workshop Rearranged Patch Pack" was causing the first problem. Turns out I had some patches for mods that I thought I had. But the second problem still remains sadly.
SMB92
Yeah not sure about that one, but given you found a patch that fixed it, maybe it's another mod or patch you have. I vaguely remember something about a language bug but couldn't comment past that.

It was caused by the unofficial Fallout 4 patch. Download FO4Edit.exe to review your mods and clean.

Oh gosh, I do hope it's not mine, but I did check for dirty edits, I swear! I had that with the Drumlin diner and Wolfgang. Suddenly it was all french. Everything, even the quest itself, was named french. I'm still curious as to how that happened, since I didn't have any mod fiddling with that part of the game. Overall it's no biggie. It just happens. For the longest time the immersive vendor stalls got German names, even though I installed an english version.

Also i fixed the problem. I HAD THE GERMAN VERSION OF UFO4P PACK INSTALLED. OMFL. Edited January 3, 2018 by falout4memes
