SubjectProphet
Just let me know, because recently I've seen a lot of posts claiming to have crashes with 1.5. My task manager and firewall block Steam to prevent any updates, 1.4 works fine for me, but should I download 1.5 or not?
jbranin
So far so good for me, and I'm running a cheap Radeon HD 6670.
coinecc
It really depends on what mods you have installed. On vanilla Skyrim, the patch works just fine. Mine runs just fine with 30+ mods installed and the latest update. 1.5 isn't the problem itself - it's the incompatibility with different types of mods that is the problem. If you're good with how your game is right now, don't worry about it and just wait for a little while for mods to be updated; If the patch looks good to you, go for it. NoobusExtremus
After my patch update, I was presented with a black screen instead of the normal main load screen where you can choose to continue, load a save or start a new character. Found that my installed mod "New Kill Moves - Finishers - Kill Move Set Warrier-Knight" by OVMProductions was the cause. Disabled it and the game runs just fine. ScorpionHunter
Yeah, my game has also updated - first thing I noticed that SKSE said it's not supported in this game version, also have killmoves mod, apparently I need to remove it. And then begin to wonder which of my 50 mods used SKSE :/ new one just came in SKSE Community uncapper only supports 1.4.27 Edited March 21, 2012 by ScorpionHunter
Rennn
There's already a new SKSE out though, no need to remove it for long. Just get the latest version. I haven't had any problems that were the patch's fault. My shadows were bugged for a while, but I removed the DB Realistic Ragdoll mod that caused it. It was a very old version of Realistic Ragdolls (from last year, lol), so the new version might work of course. Anyway, now it works fine and I'm enjoying much improved arctic LOD and grass shadows. ScorpionHunter
Yes - I downloaded SKSE just now - it's ok
Tidus44
Seems to be a consensus. 1.5 didn't cause problems for me, just a few mods did (already mentioned above) that I either disabled or deleted and no problems after. Actually, the kill moves in the update are pretty good so the kill moves mod I had I won't reload - and about the only mod I wish I had waited for is the Uncapper. ScorpionHunter
I have about 90 mods - only mod I had to disable is Elys Uncapper, not that I need it anytime soon.. Elys probably updates that soon too - so far so good. Edited March 21, 2012 by ScorpionHunter
Staind716
I'm currently running 180+ mods and no crashes or problems with the beta or official patch other than no script dragon and I can live without that until it is updated. I guess it really depends on what mods you are using as to whether the new patch is a game breaker or not. Hope all of you with problems get them straightened out.
