JimmyRJump
This is a bug that has been present in Skyrim2011 and rears its ugly head again in SSE: selling goods to whatever vendor/merchant and his/her counter gets stuck which means your items change hands but you don't receive any Septims in return. Whether or not this is a vanilla bug or is caused by a mod altering the amount of money a vendor has, I'm not sure: too longe ago since I last played Skyrim2011 and never played an unmodded SSE. So, my question is of course, would someone be willing to take a look at this and, if possible at all, make a bug-fix for this? Cheers.
cdcooley
It's part of the game itself. If a vendor has too much money (32768 or more) the game doesn't recognize it. So using mods (or console commands) to give vendors insane amounts of gold can cause this problem. You can also run into the problem if you're training high level skills with someone who is also a vendor (like the college mages). If you're trying to recover money from training by selling your expensive items you need to train a few levels then trade some items to keep the vendor's gold level below 32768. That's why I started off with saying this error has been present ever since Skyrim2011 was released. That's also why I asked if someone would be willing to look into it and possibly make a bug-fix...
