Help, please: "Failed to initialize renderer" error

Two days ago I was playing Skyrim with no problem at all, Heavy modded, though no ENB. So, everything was fine until in a fatal mistake of mine I decided to let Windows 10 update itself while having dinner. :facepalm:

 

Next thing I know is screen size is fu**** up, desktop larger than the screen itself, no NVIDIA control panel anywhere, and after configuring the whole thing up again, I can't start the game. Doesn't matter if I try to run it in compatibility mode. I've already reinstalled my video drivers again, configured sound (just in case), looked for steam issues, edited .ini files to match the screen size (which is 1824x1026 right now), but nothing seems to work. :wallbash:

 

 

I can't make it to the game menu because: "failed initializing renderer. Unknown error creating the renderer".

 

 

 

Any ideas on how to fix it without going through the whole "re-install everything" process???

I have the same problem, it just happend with me, the update have been on last week, but I only now was try to play the game.

I also did some pratics red on the net, nothing helped yet.

 

Did you found any sollution already please?

Have you guys tried this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706 I'm on same version of windows as you guys I'm running a non ENB heavily modded, very heavily scripted game with no issues. I'm with the red team though might be difference? But it wont hurt to try it.
