  1. Wild stab in the dark but I'm guessing load order is the culprit. Fire up loot or hit the sort button.
  2. heh i have crappy eyes, glasses and big monster of a monitor about 18inch from my face. I did have it pushed up against the wall but my eyes where failing me. So i brought it forward 6 or so inches an i can see much better now.
  3. Yes its HDT related, but also CPU horse power related. Best you can do is experiment with it some. Bodysliding every single Armor and piece of clothing in the game doesn't help if its an issue or you have a weaker CPU. Sometimes less is more.
  4. SSE can push them RAM VRAM limits quickly. I was seeing them numbers also whilst testing it last year. With a fraction of the mods you have running :) Good job
  5. My 1060 6gb is running 2k with about 230 mods in my load order. The load order in question is very texture heavy. Some is 4k because I can. Advise. Pick a mod manager either Vortex. Nexus mod manager or Mod organiser and stick with it. Look on You tube for tutorials. Read lots, trawl forums for info install the tools you need and always read the mod pages and you'll be fine. I generally send people to either gamer poets, Gopher or dirty weasel media. All have some fantastic stuff accumulated over the years. Good luck with the modding and have fun.
  6. I run a heavily modded game that includes in my load order alternate start. I can 100% guarentee i will run into same issues should i choose the option for a vanilla start. However if i exit back to menu as soon as i can open the menu i can reload my setup save and then run through the vanilla start normally.
  7. It could be CPU related, the physics engine is freaking out at the wind blowing the trees. It could also be video card related. I am leaning towards CPU as its only a dual core at 2ghz. It may be time to upgrade.
  8. Yea now it time to check mod requirements it may pad out your load order abit but more important will be the actual load order itself. Mod cleaning and the likes. Also test the load order with a new charachter dont try continue any play through untill you have a stable load order. Even then, after you finished tinkering the old play through MAY be toast. Last thing ill say is this LOOT download it.
  9. You dont exactly have an excessive load order so my best guess is Skyrim is running out of RAM. Do the memory hack as suggested above, Can also try a mod called Crash fixes. That has built in memory patch that allows you to force your OS to manage your memory rather than Skyrim, (Far as I understand it). https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725 can also find a great tutorial/overview of how that actually works at Dirtyweaselmedia's youtube channel in his 2016 modding guide. The above applies to only Skyrim Legendary edition) One question I do have though is are you running SSE (Skyrim special edition) Or Skyrim LE? This is the LE Forum. Don't mix mods from one game up with mods from the other. However if you are running SSE you'll need a mod called SSEEngine fixes https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230 which I understand does the same thing for Skyrim special edition. Check out your load order with LOOT and check your mods are clean with XEdit (You may need to search youtube for some up to date tutorials on cleaning mods with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164 or https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859 depending on which game you are running. Also worth going through every single mod in your load order and double check you have all the required mods for each mod. Then make sure you have all the requirements for all them other mods you may be forced to install. You might want too investigate the possibility of upgrading to 16gb of RAM. hope it helps
  10. Did you have, at some point cutting room floor installed? I think its content from CRF if its been removed problem solved?
  11. Looks like a body load order issue with an armour mod, You could try running bodyslide and then FNIS. Do you have a CBBE Armor mod overwriting CBBE's body slide files? Has your load order changed at any time in the last few days?
  12. The more mods you add the worse it will become. SSE will use the system resources your PC has. Then beg for more RAM/VRAM.Throwing another GPU and more CPU cores and RAM at the problem will only go so far. Be prudent with the size/quality of textures you add to your load order. Throw enough mods and high res textures at SSE you can and will bring even the newest of PC's to its knees. Even though i get lower FPS than desired with 180+ mods an a whole bunch of high res textures my game is still butter smooth. Yea I get dips into the high 40's in busy crowded area's but unless I'm watching an FPS counter I'd not notice it one bit. Ask yourself is the game smooth and stable? If the answer is yes go play have fun an switch off the FPS counters. As for a 1660ti you'll most likley be able to run at Ultra with an ENB and a whole bunch of 4k textures.
  13. I run almost 200+ mods with a less than 6 months old Ryzen 5 2600x and 16 gb of ram. Its graphically intensive and script heavy. When I run Skyrim through SKSE Skyrim throws a fit and I get a black loading screen and a window stating its pretty much crashed or you think it has. Windows (in my case at least) is talking crap. Game is fine. PC is fine.
  14. Abit confused is this SSE It could just be too many mods I lost count around the 250ish mark an was still scrolling. Did you let Bethini create your ini files? Which ENB are you using if any?
  15. Try a lower resoluton see if it smooths things out. You might be hitting RAM and VRAM issues. Take a peek at afterburner see what numbers it throws at you.
