Reaktor69
Hello, I'm new to mod software and have limited experience with the subject. My goal is similar in that what I want to do is create scatter terrain for a miniatures game called Legion from Fantasy Flight Games. A MOD for a physical game, if you will. I'm not sure where to post questions about the legality and technical details. Much to the point where to begin? So far, I've managed to extract models for 3d printing, however I'd like to modify things such as landing gear extended for static props for personal use on my own table. Where does one begin? I've Frosty Editor, and Blender. Searches will not yield a user manual for Frosty. Any input or suggestions are welcome. Thank you
Rabbit1251
Sorry I don't have a clue as to what you are trying to do, but I can redirect you if you tell me what game you are trying to mod. By the bye, welcome to the community, Reaktor!! The Rabbit
KnorKater
Okay, so you have a physical table top game called Legion, which is based on Star Wars. You want to mod it in terms of supplying new figurines and surroundings, in the form of mesh files to use with 3D printers. Is that correct?I think that's completely new terrain for the Nexus in terms of legal issues. So far, this platform is purely for software games. Your idea is quite interesting, tho. I think it's pretty awesome. Unfortunately I can't help you with the legalities. I assume it would be best to just contact whoever produces Legion. But as long as you don't sell or make any money off of it, I don't see a problem here, personally. As for Blender and Frosty, let me point you to the part of this forum more suited for your needs: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/319-3d-modelling/
