Pole in front of me. Alternate start

When I am starting to use Alternate start, there is a pole in front of me when doing the body? Did I miss something?

Have had several Nords in front of me, but never a Pole.

 

Seriously, I have used Alternate start only once and didn't have that issue.

You can't move when in the character creator, Gorsha. When stepping off the cart and asked who you are, it's a cinematic that takes over and you have no control over your character.

The part about not being able to close the menu is true but in Alternate Start you appear in a prison dungeon(flooded tower something like that), not the cart sequence at Helgen. That you can choose after creating your character though :)

 

Decided to take a look at the Alternate Start. Which I suppose is Arthmoor's and there it said this in the troubleshooting section:

 

Dude, there's a pole in my face. Why did you not move it?

 

This is a commonly mentioned problem that's caused by using Enhanced Character Edit alongside starting with LAL. It is not a problem with this mod, and it's unknown exactly why ECE does the camera thing the way it does.

 

It's not something I feel I should be responsible for fixing since I have not caused this to happen.

Thank you for your answer. I am very sure that the issue lies in with that mod conflict. *blush* I am going to have to comb through my mod list. I am having several issues like this and I am sure that I have conflicting mod issues. I will post more of my issues. Hopefully finding out which ones are conflicting and choose.

Ah, okay. I used a different Alternate Start mod then. Just checked and it's called Opening Scene Overhaul, which is more like a restored version of the original start and not really an alternate start. My mistake.

That is actually a great mod. It was refreshing and seem more story friendly.

I have loaded over a 100 mods. Yes, I over do things and then go like "oh no, I went overboard." Seriously, someone with free time and understands this stuff could like charge people to help them make a custom mod list for their perfect game.
