HeyYou
http://www.kansas.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/pivot-point/article192154939.html Kansas is what happens when stupidity wins in a state. Explicit homicide by apparently legalized government death squads is blamed on home video games.BWA HA HA HAAAA, oh, that's rich. This is what happens when idiots try and use the cops for a prank. This most certainly isn't the first instance of 'swatting', (considering there is already a term for it.......) and very few of them actually had anything to do with video games. They ALL were perpetrated by folks that outright refuse to take any responsibility for their actions though. You know, the standard state of affairs these days, perpetuated by the liberal left. This is the end result of the permissive society we have become, it has nothing to do with government, or death squads, or notsies, or any of a number of other trigger-words you like to use. What happened to you? You used to be FAR more level-headed, not to mention open-minded..... What turned you into a fanatic? Did Trump getting elected induce a stroke, or something? TheMastersSon
You know I keep asking the same question on this site, but in different ways. Namely what the hell ever happened to our former country? I mean the one I was born into, where our police were not allowed to simply show up on our own doorsteps and kill us without a legally justifiable reason, and the one where our current and future protected constitutional rights were not stripped by the very non-partisan agency we pay to protect and defend these rights. Do you remember? The country whose foreign policy didn't consist of first starving countless millions of people and then invading their countries, and the country where our own federal government didn't actively sellout our labor force by forcing it (absurdly) to compete with totalitarian Communism. Etc. etc etc etc. You have the absolute gall to defend the clearest and most brazen acts of treason in our entire history, now decayed to the point of directly imposed fascism, then turn around and accuse ME of being a fanatic. What remains to be said? Stupidity is indeed infinite punishment and I'm through banging my head against a life term. So welcome (really this time) to my permanent idiot bin. But here's one last insight for your perpetually embarrassed future: Even if it means taking the first of an attack (it's their JOB to do so), police do not have the right to use lethal force against suspects without clear evidence that life or property is imminently endangered. As you will soon learn, our minimum legal standards for proving imminent danger in courts are more substantial than just subjective opinion about arm and hand movement, unless the movement is toward an observable weapon or into a concealed area like a jacket or clothes pocket. Thank God this is still largely true in our country, or else you really are talking about institutionalized and militarized death squads instead of civil police forces. As a great and authentic president once said, the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. So our one and only long-term actual enemy is reactionary stupidity. When our fake president's bombs start to drop and the world finally starts returning the favor for a half century of almost continuous, utterly pointless and almost entirely undeserved bomb dropping, please find the nearest mirror for the cause of our destruction. It's not the "liberal left", which has not even existed in our country since 1971. If you could manage to stop watching Fox News for a while you'd already know that. I'm pushing 60 and to date I've never been arrested for anything. Most probably because I've never done anything that should have gotten me arrested. But this issue of net neutrality is so vital, and transcends so many of our usual roadblocks to negotiation (political partisanship, economic class, even PACs themselves etc) that for the first time in my life, and I hope the lives of millions of other Americans, I'm willing to go to the mat with my own employees on this one. Jurisdiction and control over internet traffic will be returned to our FCC, the 2015 classification and its resulting protections will be fully reinstated, without exception and permanently. Anything short of that is unacceptable and it either will not stand, or it will stand with me and again hopefully millions of other patriots sitting as political prisoners inside our own paid jails. It's beyond outrageous that a president who didn't even get a majority of the popular vote last November, and his Verizon/Comcast/Murdoch industry shill (who clearly has no intent of serving in the public interest, only in the interest of the industry that employs him) have willfully ignored the expressed desire of 93% of the American people. The bottom line and irrefutable truth is that Pai and Trump handed control over our internet navigation rights to private industry, it is therefore the greatest act of imposed fascism in our entire history and it will not stand because it cannot stand in a free republic. And if it does stand, no free republic remains, so I would have no wish to stay in a fascist country anyway. Trump and Pai have no leg to stand on and it's hugely embarrassing and pathetic to watch them pretend that they do. HeyYou
Clearest and most brazen acts of treason? Really? How about an example please. I suggest you go to the police academy, graduate, and do a couple years in say Chicago, or Detroit. You will have a WHOLE NEW perspective on the use of deadly force. At this point, you are so far off the mark, I don't think you are even in the same country. I did time as an MP in the Air Force. Given the situation the cops were walking into in Kansas, I would have shot the man dead as well, if he reached for his waistband. You apparently don't have the first idea of police policy or protocols. That is going to turn out to be a completely justified use of deadly force. It isn't the COPS that are at fault in this tragedy, it is the guy that called them. HE should be charged with at the very least, second degree murder, if not murder 1. HE is the person most directly responsible for that mans death. Not the cop. But, as you appear to be adding me to your ignore list, you will likely never read this response. So, So Long, and thanks for all the fish! Was fun while it lasted. Have a nice life.
