DustNoNo
Hi guys, I hope someone got the solution because i searched everywhere. I just made a fresh install of Skyrim SE and it keep crashing after the intro video. I tried everything: reinstalling, removing ini files, deleting all files of skyrim (ini and installation) and reinstalling, changing language, changing setup, changing refresh rate ... Skyrim SE was working perfectly fine some weeks ago but i uninstalled it, i think the new update make the game crash with my computer but i'm not sure. Any ideas? Thanks ! JimmyRJump
Make sure the exe files are run in Administrator mode. Right-click the exe and choose properties from the roll-out menu. In the next menu choose the Compatibility tab and at the bottom of that tab tick the box in front of Run this program as an administrator. Do this for the SkyrimSE.exe and SkyrimSELauncher.exe and also for the skse64_launcher.exe if you're using that. Also see to it, when running on Windows 10, that the UAC (User Account Control) isn't interfering with the game after a Windows update.

Iskariot
This is going to sound like crazy talk...But try disabling your internet connection, and test if it works. If it works then add rules for blocking Skyrim in the Windows Firewall. That's what got mine going again. They added that Hint/CC Advert thing to the main menu that requires an internet connection, which for some reason crashes the game for some people. JohnnynRoger
I had the same problem. I had to uninstall the game and manually delete every Skyrim folder from my drive with the exception of my saves. This might be obvious, but simply uninstalling the game doesn't remove files that weren't created by the game's installer.

I've blocked my Skyrim SE in my Bitdefender firewall and voila, the game works! :)
