Dubbyk
OK so I know all about CoC and how to teleport to named cells. But when I am testing new locations mods many of these cells are unnamed they are just a cell / world ID number. If I use CoC on cell ID number the game hickups like it's about to move me then does nothing. I have also attempted to use CoW command but how ever I try to type the ID number it says it is not a valid world reference. I can also try using player.moveto to a REF id of a placed object in the mod but this is often a crap shoot if it works. For some reason many of the objects listed in FO4edit are not valid ref IDs in game? Takes sometimes like 20-30 attempts before i find a placed object that lets me teleport to it. Any thoughts on how I can better teleport to mod added cells for testing? is there no way I can just teleport based on Cell grid location?
montky
check out RuadHan2300's and JetSteele's teleport approaches.RuadHan's stuff is neat,JetSteele's is great for targetting moving locations, when you aren't sure where in their motion path the node is.(ie, trying to land a vertibird on a moving vertical platform etc) Any Door to Any Where will also pair to a door ref if one is already placed in your target cell location etc,so, that can be useful also. Dubbyk
Attempted googling those names and didn't really come up with much, and from the sound of it you are talking more about how to set up teleports inside the CK, i am talking about moving my self around cell to cell to test for conflicts in my game just using console commands.
