Gods of Gaudium: Rp thread

Kronan returned to Kalidon, and to plan the next war, all his citizens knew him well, and were in awe of his skill as a warrior. It was said that the souls of his kills could fill the city many times, which was more than could be said for anyone else, marching down the street, he saw a soldier hauling in a rather large amount of trophies in a sack, and took note of the man.

He returned to the 'war room' and continued to plot how he would fight his enemies, mainly rival warrior groups, without a god, they could easily be convinced after they were defeated to join him, and that was what he planned to do. He also made plans against the goddess of peace, who was refusing to give him some land he had 'asked' her for

Talen turned to head for the nearest tavern, to get drunk and throw every bit of coin on his person away. Then easily get it back. As he entered the tavern he was greeted by a friend, the only mortal friend he had and the only mortal he actually trusted.

"Frustrated?" the man asked.

OOC: G2G, be back tonight.

Illius walked into a city he visited for the first time. It looked like any other city yet at the same time different. Everyone were busy with their daily activities and no one really noticed him. The paladin walked to the very end of the town where a person that needed comfort was.

He entered a small shack and looked around. The building had only one room and it was in a poor condition. An old man was lying in a bed it seemed that he noticed an angel. Illius went closer to the bed and started at the man for a moment. This man was very sick. The angel placed his hand on the old man's forehead and closed his eyes. He stood like that for few moments, comforting him without words. Once he finished the man was already dead but he looked calm and even relieved. The angel looked at the old man for a moment before leaving his shack. He now had some time for himself which happened very rarely. What should he do next?

A soldier who had ran away from a fight and left his comrades to die was brought before Kronan, who approached him "You left your brothers to die and ran from a fight, I can think of little more dishonourable than that! You have shamed us all with your disgusting display of cowardice, what do you have to say for your self" the man had a trembling lip

"I don't want to die!!!!"

"SILENCE! Do not bring your self even greater shame! You are in experienced, but to run from combat and leave your comrades to die? One was your own brother, I believe."

"I didn't mean anything! I was scared"

"You... were... scared?! WHAT KIND OF EXCUSE IS THAT!" Kronan shouted "Take him away and have him killed! wait... no... I have a better idea. Do you wish to regain your honour? To save your family the shame?"

"yes..."

"Excellent, bring him with me" Kronan said, leaving the town...

Illius had decided to explore the town a bit more than a voice of one of the higher ranking angels told him about the situation between God of War and some mortal. The situation might require some comfort... he left the place to look for the said person.

The god of war and his servants arrived at the pinacle of pacts, the dishonoured man was released and Kronan passed him a sword "At least you may die with honour" The man swung the sword at Kronan, who swung his blade, blocking it, he kicked at the man, who fell backwards onto the black altar, Kronan swung the sword down, decapitating the man

Eylandria stepped out from the shadows surrounding the Pinnacle Of Pacts, her dark cape blending in with the shadow's, and the dagger she held reflected the tiny bit of light that passed through. "The God Of War wishes to make a pact with Eylandria? i am afraid your'e divinity will make no difference on the matter. State your dark desire."

"There are some bandits raiding camps behind my land, they have no honour, I wish that all those bandits should suddenly die, you will do this!" Kronan said, he could not attack the goddess of peace's lands because of these raiders, and if the bandits were dead, then he could attack and claim the land. The goddess of peace would seek peace immdeiantly, but wouldn't without some land back, so the god of war also planned to claim some worthless land and would use that to make peace

"Not the darkest of pacts.... but i assume there is some motive behind there death's? Very well, who's soul will i be taking?" Eylandria said as she looked at the decapitated body on her altar.

"Would there be any problem taking the soul of the one I just killed?"
