dubiousintent
Yeah, the permissions given send mixed signals. "Conversion permitted", but "ask to use assets" and "I do request that you let me know that you are using them, and traditionally I ask for a link to your mod when you are done." Fortunately the author is still active (last post in comments 03 Jan 2018), so best to just ask directly. -Dubious-
M48A5
It is highly unlikely that a port of the mod would happen. It would have to be converted from a 64 bit platform to a 32 bit platform.

It would have to be converted from a 64 bit platform to a 32 bit platform. I'm not a weapons expert, but I don't think that's the issue since your essentially just copying the graphics assets like NiTriStrips. Everything else like the NiNodes, attack animations, grip, etc will conform to NV. If Nifskope 2.0 Dev 7 can import/export earlier nif formats, like NV's, then it should be possible for someone to put together (that is experienced in this subject). I really mean rebuild the mod for New Vegas. See if you can get permission, then the project will be much more feasible. Without it, the chances of someone cranking out a model from scratch is very slim.
