Nexus Mod Manager not recognizing TES5EDIT as supported tool.

So I have only just started my modding adventure with SSE, and after watching many tutorials on Youtube, pausing mid-vid to watch a tutorial to explain that vid, and repeat repeat repeat, I have come across xEdit or in this case TES5Edit. After watching a few videos on it (not many people show amazing tutorials on it's installment through NMM), i have come to the part where I should simply be able to go under the 'supported tools' section in NMM, and select 'config SSEEdit' (or whatever it says, something very similar to that), and find a highlight my TES5Edit folder with the executable within it or the exe itself, but nothing will work when I highlight it and hit 'ok'. It won't prompt me with anything, and EESEdit still remains grayed out even though I've tried various folders that contain the exe, and folders that contain those folders that contain the exe. Could someone explain why NMM won't recognize my folders when my exe is in them?

Unpack SSEEdit and put the SSEEdit.exe into the main install directory of SSE (where the regular SSE.exe is sitting) together with the Skyrim.Hardcoded.keep.this.with.the.exe.and.otherwise.ignore.it.I.really.mean.it file and Editscripts folder, then surf to that location through NMM's supported tools gizmo. If the xedit isn't inside the SSE folder it won't work. You copied the complete sseedit folder into the SSE directory, while it's the content I mentioned earlier that needs to be copied.

Also, when surfing to the sseedit location through NMM, don't go inside the SSE folder, but just highlight the SSE folder in the menu.
