Why is communism a bad word?

As Ive stated before that seperation of powers is irrelevant when you weigh human psychology against collectives ability to run a society, government or private enterprise. The cupidity of the individual or individuals even seeking to do good will always cease power. You can't legislate away the fundamental issues with collectivism. There's no argument that anyone can provide to counter the mountains of historical evidence against the fundamental failures of collectivism. You can't have a seperation of powers without tyranny present. There's no argument that can prove this historical truth invalid. Communism,Marxism, fascism, and socialism always become corrupted. Pretending otherwise is absurd.

For the same reason any other political system is a bad word. All types of government have pros can cons. Democracy is fine in the beginning because everyone remembers why they created it but after awhile it becomes just as Tyrannical as a Monarchy. People grow intolerant of others over time and when the majority group starts to resent a minority group they will act to wipe out the minority group. After all Humans are very tribal If you are not a part of the tribe the tribal members do not want to associate with you and will ostracize members who are willing to associate you.

If you live in the USA Communism is a bad word because Americans associate Communism with no rights and an oppressive government. However if one were to actually study how Communist countries benefited their people it would become more attractive. Unlike what the media says . The USA is very far from Communism or Socialism. Social security, UBI, universal healthcare and welfare are social programs yet they do not make a country communist or Socialist. We do not have politicians trying to pass laws so they can take your property. If they had tried it they would be voted out of office as neither Democrats or Republicans would support that.

The other thing to consider is that the USA considered the USSR, China, Viet Nam, Cuba, and North Korea as rivals or enemies so in order to mobilize the populations against them they needed to turn them into scapegoats. We see this happening today. Iran and anyone who supports them is viewed as a terrorist even though that majority of terrorist groups are enemies of Iran. ISIS Taliban, and al-Qaeda are Sunnis whereas Iranians are Shia. They are natural enemies of each other and Iran is not likely to support them. There is also the factor that war is profitable for the military industrial complex. Most of the elites in the USA make billions from arms sales and when there is a conflict it is a great way to reduce the number of poor and middle class civilians. Poor and middle class are seduced by the wealthy by ideas that they are serving their country, will have a pension when they retire, will be able to see the world, will have education assistance, learn useful skills that will help them in their careers, and that they are spreading freedom and democracy around the world when in reality they are going to fight and die so the wealthy elite can increase their portfolios. Wealthy families generally wont send their children into the military and if they do their children will be officers or in areas where they less likely to see combat.

Name one country that maintained a successful communist government, and the people were happy about it.

I am thinkin' that you can't, because it doesn't exist. Nor will it ever.

Communism is compatible with the separation of powers contrary to marxism-leninism.

Your question also applies to the right-wing/fascist countries since both systems are based on the concentration of powers.

But I note you didn't answer the question. Big surprise there. (no, not really.)

I answered your question by highlighting the fact your right-wing/fascist ideas are as insane as marxism-leninism and you did not even try to prove me wrong.

That's not an answer.

But, I am curious, you seem to be an advocate of communism, and see it as a better solution than what we have, but now, you are calling it insane??

Oh, and by the way, while I do subscribe to SOME 'right wing' ideas, that does not imply I agree with everything they say/do. I simply object less to some of their more 'right-wing' ideas, than I do to some of the lefts..... I find the right a bit more tolerable. The left has too many positions that I flat out vehemently disagree with for me to even consider supporting them.

Yet neither system actually works on a large scale. Not with humans involved at any rate. The folks at the top, regardless of how powers are 'separated', STILL have all the power, make all the rules, and give themselves all the benefits thereof, and the lifestyles to match.

Of course, the same could be said for the US government.... and it would be equally true. :)

In reality, I am not entirely sure there IS a 'best' form of government, but, I gotta admit, I like capitalism a whole lot better than communism.
