Suggestion for posts

Would it be possible to put a warning in a post that details some aspect of how to beat certain parts of the game?

Something like *SPOILER ALERT* would work well, then put some space between it and the contents of the post.

That way, those of us who don't want any hints or walkthroughs don't have to worry about stumbling across something that we don't want to see.

Thanks! :)

I agree with Baphomet. I'm just as guilty of mentioning something that might be a spoiler as the next guy. I think a cheats forum would be good to have, at the very least a notice saying "Cheats & Spoilers: Proceed with Caution" next to a questionable post. That said, what is considered a cheat or spoiler? If someone can't find a book they need, or a cave they've been searching for is that necessarily a cheat or spoiler? Also, in the course of a normal conversation about a given mission completed fair and square by posting members, someone who has not yet finished that quest might suddenly find themselves in the middle of what for them is a spoiler but for everyone else is run of the mill "hey i did that too! did you get attacked by so and so?" conversation. Man, I'm glad I'm not administering this forum, what a headache.

I guess in my somewhat enfeebled mind, a cheat is a bug exploitation or a console command that serves as get-around for normal game play... Like how to kill Ordinators in the FQ of Vivec by hiding behind the planter box; that to me is a cheat.

A spoiler, IMO, is giving away the solution to a quest. A nudge in the right direction is one thing (try looking in the OTHER tower) when someone is really and truly stuck, but giving them a veritible walk-through (go here, kill this person, take the key, go here, unlock this chest and take the sword...) is something else.

The little "nudges" I don't think really need any specific warning label attached, but I think the other scenarios should.

Just my two-cents worth.
