Guest deleted43426342
As the title says, how can you export models from New Vegas? All I can find is importing models to New Vegas but I want models from New Vegas.
Ethreon
Because you don't import models FROM the game, you export them. BAE for Nv should help.
EPDGaffney
I think you're referring to simply accessing the vanilla game models, textures, &c., correct? Those are all in BSA files. BAE is a tool to unpack those. Whatever you do, do not unpack them into your New Vegas folder. I mean it. Seriously. Be careful. I use BSAopt, and I'm not recommending it if there are alternatives, because it's not very pleasant to use, and it's confusing because when it seems to be unpacking just one file, it unpacks the entire archive. There are apparently ways to make that not happen but I don't know what they are. Point is, to be safe, do not unpack anything anywhere near your game files. M48A5
I don't know about NMM, but Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) has a tool that will unpack .bsa files.
EPDGaffney
Excellent, OP. I don't think NMM has that feature. I find that hard to believe in a way (as FOMM definitely has it) but I use NMM and whatever searching I did led me to BSAopt, at least when I looked a couple of years ago.
