Problem with update

I've gotten F4 running but nexus and Loot are still messed up. I keep activating plugins in nexus that keep getting unchecked and Loot won't see all the plugins that are working. This looks like sabotage by Bethesda to kill the mods community so only the mods they offer will work.

I have just been informed by Bethesda that there is no way to turn off updates and that if updates are somehow disabled the game won't run until the update is installed. I never bought F4 so a third party could make changes to my computer without my knowledge or permission. To make changes to one's computer or disable a purchased product to force such changes that is supposed to be stand alone, violates the RICO act and is racketeering.

Okay guys, I didn't want to create a redundant post, but even after updating F4SE to the newest version my game fails to launch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled F4SE, I tried removing all my F4SE plugins as this has caused issues in the past, and I've tried a complete reinstall of Fallout 4. Currently I'm disabling all my active mods and will try and start the game, but if anyone else has any other suggestions I'd appreciate it.

F4SE is updated, so you can run the updated version.

 

 

Yes I can confirm this. I already updated mine and as soon as I did, I had no problem running my game.

 

That Creation Club is messing with us.

I haven't looked at the log, but this is identical to my issue. Can't load the game with or without F4SE and with or without mods.

Greetings!

Thank you for contacting the Bethesda Customer Support Team.

Our development team is aware of an issue with Fallout 4 that occurred following the December update. They are working to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible.
For console players, you should be able to take your console offline before launching the game. This should allow you to play the game normally.
PC players have the following troubleshooting options:
Blocking .exe files in Windows Firewall

Block both .exe files in your Windows Firewall. You must block all outbound and inbound connections for the Fallout4.exe and the Fallout4Launcher.exe

Play Offline
  • Switch to ‘Offline Mode’ in Steam. This can be done from your Steam settings.
  • Turn off / unplug your router.
  • Start the game normally.
  • Once finished, save as normal and quit the game. After quitting, you may re-enable Steam in Online mode, and turn your router back on. Steam should upload your latest save to the cloud.
If these steps are unsuccessful, we have reported this issue to our development team for Fallout 4 and we hope to have it fixed in a future update to the game.
