dj4822
I can install mods from a file very easily, but installing from Nexus doesn't work at all, the download doesn't even start. I've tried different browsers and for all my games (that vortex will load), none of them seem to register the download. Am I missing something? Has anyone else run into this? Ethreon
It's slow, but works.

I've toggled it ON in Settings\Download, I've allowed Vortex through the Windows firewall, click on the "Mod Manager Download" on mod page, it launches Vortex (if it isn't running) and then ... nothing. No network traffic, nothing starts downloading. I've waited 10 minutes ....

dj4822
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. I hate digging into my system settings for individual programs like this. Given how nexus always works flawlessly for downloads I'm sure they'll resolve it soon
Madchieften
It works for me. You've set Vortex to handle Nexus links yes?
dj4822
Yes and made sure the chrome fix was added for my chrome tests. But it fails to start a download from any browser.
falloutguy93
I have been able to download almost perfectly. But for some reason the MB/s drops to 0 and the UI shows that I am not downloading, but within a minuet or less (Depending on the mod size) it just pops up. Deleted47347768User
Using Firefox, downloads will usually start after a several second delay, maybe that's the issue? Are you closing tabs/going back soon after using the download button?
sr383
I think it works well. I just ran a test, in fact, where I had New Vegas as my active game, but I clicked the download link for a Fallout 3 mod. The mod downloaded normally, and I got a message that the mod did not match my currently active game. It then gave me the option to install the mod to FONV, install it to FO3, or ignore. I told it to install to Fallout 3, and it did so without ever switching from Fallout New Vegas.
