  1. Yeah I did, I believe the top 3 options are chosen. First: thanks for pointing my attention to this mod, it looks interesting enough to check it out for myself. As to FNIS, just mentioning this to make sure we avoid confusion: this mod relies on the original FNIS so it's not a replacement or something. I installed FNIS manually, then turned on the integration option in the dashboard and I can highly recommend that setting because unlike what has been insinuated above this setting does not run FNIS after every mod installation, only after you installed (or removed) a mod which actually depends on FNIS. At least that's how things work on my end. So that's what I would suggest. Vortex uses that setting quite well. Yeah it's a pretty good option. I just don't know why it doesn't install this mod for me. If I go through the normal route of installing it through FNIS it all works. Been working for me since I started me playthrough 2 weeks ago. Just thought I'd mention it on the forums to see if anyone else had this problem or if I am doing something wrong, cause I remember when I did a playthrough of Skyrim last year around the same time it worked, if I am remembering correctly.
  2. Yeah that's what I did. But this is meant to be a tool to allow it so people don't need to do that. Just thought I'd point out that it wasn't working as intended.
  3. I am using the mod FNIS PCEA2. When I go to use FNIS automatically using the "Run FNIS on Deployment Event" FNIS get's installed properly but this mod does not. If I use the FNIS tool from the Dashboard it will install it properly. Only when FNIS is ran using the "Run FNIS on Deployment Event" does it fail to install the proper files and I am left with Vanilla animations. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
  4. It happens to me as well, this is Vortex/Nexus, as it does it with new mods. I installed an old version of the mod and tried to update that one and it failed. It does it for FO4 as well.
  5. I used the default install, it only shows uninstalled in Vortex though. I do still have the Installed mod folders with all the files there. When it updated to Test version 0.16.1 it didn't touch that folder as it was defaulting to D:\. So it left D:\Vortex\{GAME} folder alone. https://imgur.com/a/ADfIMCN I will zip that folder up and move it somewhere safe just in case I can get it back to where it was using that, with your advice. Thank you for the help Tannin. I will go do your fix now and report back. EDIT: It worked and I am able to use Vortex normally, it does not show anything other than what it should do. Thank you for the help Tannin, I would never have been able to figure this out on my own. Is there a reason this happened? Was it something I did or a rare bug with Vortex updating to 0.16.1?
  6. Screenshot of Settings -> Mods in 0.15.9 I have also sent feedback with the attachment you requested. I didn't say this in my OP cause I forgot, but all my mods get flagged as uninstalled too and some are flagged as never installed. Thank you for the reply Tannin.

I updated to 0.16.0 a few weeks ago and it was showing my installed programs that I had on the drive it was installed on, so I uninstalled Vortex and went back to 0.15.9 today I saw there was a new version out and updated and it is doing the same. Am I doing anything wrong? Vortex is installed on the C Drive. When I go to move the install folder for SSE and FO4 it is defaulting to D:\ so I chose the folder I want and it moves all the programs that it can without permission into D:\Vortex\{GAME} when I close down Vortex and reopen it, it has defaulted back to D:\ Here is a screen shot of the mods tab https://imgur.com/a/XhakOp3 Am I doing something wrong?

I am having some trouble with mods not being installed, Vortex comes up with an Error, I posted to the Mod comments and it seems some others are also having trouble while others are not. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3556260-armor-keywords-community-resource-akcr/?p=62669116 It is also doing it for Claralux as well. I am using 0.15.8
  9. You might not know this, but Tannin is the Developer for Vortex, at least the Main Developer. Also instead of just throwing out criticism, and saying it's s#*!. Why is it Difficult to use? I've been using it since it was in closed Alpha and it's just as easy as using NMM, even easier actually cause it does it's job better. What s#*! does it add? Other than the files you want removed which, I believe hold the stuff that tells Vortex what it's installed. I've just looked through my Skyrim SE Data folder and FO4 Data folder, the only stuff Vortex has added are the mods's I've installed and files that are required for it to do it's job. I haven't tried, nor wanted to uninstall Vortex so I cannot comment on that.
  10. You can rename installed mods, by double clicking on it.

I am having the same error while installing XPMSE. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1988 From what I can see, Vortex installs the mod, with a .install at the end of the folder, but it cannot rename the folder to what it wants. I can see the folders appear during the install then it gets delete after the error.

Downloading to test now will report back ASAP EDIT 1: I tried to install a mod with the new Vortex 0.15.6 and I got these errors. https://imgur.com/a/2ClUsiY I only tried to install 2 mods though. But I got the same Error both times. I used the Report button in the Error box as well. EDIT 2: It seems to not install ANY mods even just simple install mods with a single Plugin.
  13. Yeah I didn't notice much slow down when importing but I was watching that import like a Hawk so I wasn't doing much of anything. I figured it wouldn't be just me with performance issues. But I just had to ask.
  14. First go to Settings -> Game's then set it to just scan the disk you have your games saved to, then mosey on over to Games then hit Quick Scan at the top. if that doesn't fix it, then you can always go to the dashboard and click the icon with the 3 dots vertically to edit the launcher.
