HardwareSc8
So, Vortex picked the wrong install path for at least one of my games that it found, choosing the backup on the external disk instead of the actual install. (NMM always did this, too, for some reason) The question is this: Is there any way to change that to point to the proper place? I can't find a spot to change/manually-set the path, and I can't find an option to delete that particular record and rescan just the C:\ drive. Am I missing seeing something, or am I just an idiot...?
falloutguy93
First go to Settings -> Game's then set it to just scan the disk you have your games saved to, then mosey on over to Games then hit Quick Scan at the top. if that doesn't fix it, then you can always go to the dashboard and click the icon with the 3 dots vertically to edit the launcher. HardwareSc8
Again, I apologize, as apparently, again, I wasn't clear. (Trying to do too many things at once, heh. ADD-brain can't handle all the d-SQUIRREL!!!) The game list had already been populated at Vortex's first launch. Rescanning would only add new games, not change the ones already in the list. What I was looking for was some way to either delete the existing incorrect entry so that I could rescan and acquire the correct entry, or manually change the entire profile entry for the game's folder, not the shortcut for the executable that it's pointing at. UDeletionQuality
I had the same problem. Fixed it deleting this folder (where CFGs are stored) C:\Users\{Your User Name}\AppData\Roaming\VortexAnd reinstalling it again.
