Hey ppl,

I've been searching various threads/videos/tutorials for some help in getting models from Maya 2012 to Skyrim. But no luck whatsoever... Does anyone have a method of getting models from Maya 2012 to skyrim? Preferably an easy way. :). I'm having trouble with exporting it and getting the model to work in the nifscope app. Could anybody help me please?

Thx!

Depends on what you want to make, if you are making weapons, saving them as an .obj and import it into nifskope should do the trick.

If there is armors you need to save them as obj and pull it through either 3ds max or blender 2.49b to apply bone weights and rigging etc.

I thought there only was a maya 2009 nif plugin, then i will have to do a search, i really want to use something else than blender at the moment.

Try this out, I just got through having a look around for a Maya 2012 plugin myself, and this is the best sounding option I've found so far. I just downloaded it a few minutes ago though, and haven't actually tried it yet. I found two pages with nearly the same sounding thing, and I'm not entirely sure which is better or newer. I'm trying the one from the top link first.
