I was trying to make some High Heels fur effects. I thought it would be a real mess but...

 

 

The main problem is that I'm not sure how to have agreement for this shoes. it's from Luxury collection, I have no clue of the original authors, nor if it's legit in any way (copyright?).

I hope it is.. my Fluffy Cat in heels is sooooo damn cute! :smile:

So... Shoes won't be "legit" since it's (it seems) a Daz3D item.

But it gave me the idea/system to make the fluffy effect work on other shoes specific feet.

 

It needs shoes with working sliders to make it easier^^

I load the base shoes (not 0 or 1, the real base nif that you can find in Shapedata) in 3dsmax, then proceed like always.

After tweaking this result in NifSkope to have correct fur textures/shells and NiAlphaProperty, I open outfit studio then load the sliderset/project-> load the shoes I'm intersted in. Conform all sliders, then simply save project as XXX.

This "XXX" project will give me TRI and 0/1 nif files for my HighHeels feet.

Then back in nifskope to clean this thing, and we're almost done. A bit of Tes5Edit now to create a new feet "outfit" (calves item slot^^). And.. TADAA!

When you put your high heels now, swap from the "vanilla" fur-feet to the corresponding high-heel fur feet. :smile:

I just received a message from the community manager SirSalami about the copyright issues of the High Heels picture I linked above.

If using only the feet part, since it's made by modders (and if I have their agreement of course), there shouldn't be any issue to publish a "naked feet" version. Cool. :smile:

 

So now, the next updates (depending on what I'll be allowed to do) will be :

- high heeled feet fur

- HDT-SMP whiskers (yes! I'll try to understand the SMP system and try to make it work for the whiskers. nothing big, but never did something like this before^^)

- add other premade bodies like vanilla UNP for easier use (when you have problems with bodyslide it could be a real pain^^)

- make a "voice pack" to be a fluffy cat from toes to... ears! ^_^
