Maharg67
   1.31[35] :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: The expeditionary group found the Synthetic Psychic Psychological Projector in a hidden chamber that had long been abandoned. ElectraFalcon investigated the current setting and was amused. "The idea of the use of this mechanism was to accentuate the negative effects of the glowfleas and the IVirus. Instead who ever set it last reversed the effects deliberately to help vault dwellers to better withstand those threats in a psychological manner. The technology was, from the start, a fairly unstable one but the entity that adjusted it also improved it." He pointed to a very small hand print, glowing rainbow coloured, imprinted into one surface of the big circular, dome topped, mechanism. MrWalker spoke. "There is only one type of entity that could possibly do that, in that amazing manner, isn't there?" ElectraFalcon responded. "No, but the list of probabilities is a very short one and I do not wish to speculate until we gain more data. I think we can assume that the difficult situation in this demivault is cleared up and can just help finishing off efforts, preparations to go to the next fake demivault before we go. There has been too much death, destruction and misery caused by the damned experimentation carried out here but hopefully matters will improve from here." And so it was! Maharg67
   0.5[36]   Of the Tazeteken, of the tazefolk, one puts forward the edict of fullness of supposed balances before the Tazegods as the basis in the Lightdo, the Shado, the Greyo and the Raindo with the sequence having no importance. More directly of the Five Gods one speaks of the Greygod, the Lightgod, the Shadogod and the Rainbogod, again with the sequence having no importance. One continues to link to the basis by adding such as demigod, king, queen, follower, pawn and others including special offerings such as sphere, dart and eye. Yet there are other elements, titles, flow patterns, on offer to both the inner and outer observer from on high or from down low. One bows, firstly and lastly, to the one who shines always as a true rainbow of hope though she be seemingly very small in stature and not named here. She is our guiding light to whom even our gods do respectfully follow.
Maharg67
:pinch: :pinch: :pinch: 2.1[37]   In the Ariser/1 there was the activation of the Golden Prize #13 that brought forth 13 Risercubes of specialised focus, use and results. There was no easy way to define what they did but in this case when another 2 x 13 items came forward, none of them would be Risercubes but would be of the same kind of stature. Soon three Risercubes were busy materialising new Ariser humans both slowly-steadily and in a manner mysterious to the Arisers. The process would be constant. Three others were bringing forth other Ariser lifeforms. Three others were materialising Ariser robots. Three others were supplying more Ariser androids One other was bringing forth particular, more unique, followers being the slowest to generate new Arisers but the very first to come out was a fourth shapechanger such as the three that had pretended to be robotic trolleys along with the equipment-supplies that they carried. Gamepoints had gathered up nicely, despite a few having been expended. Some kinds had not been expended at all. In newly renamed Freetown, formerly the fake DemiVault101D, Coppery Gift #4 gave forth 13 lots of vitally useful, specialised modules for advanced manufactories. Another 26 would materialise from that source. Now both Silvery Gift #10 and Coppery Gift #4 had been expended. Maharg67
   2.2[38]   Jasmine spoke to Amata, both of them sitting at a small table in a small meeting room. "So where is your father" Amata sighed. "He is in a healing capsule because he was having troubles with his primary heart though not with his backup one. We decided he would suddenly vanish, being exhausted with being an Overseer, get healed and come back when we supposedly discover him and rescue him. Except that he really did vanish along with the healing sleepcapsule that he was in. The two people caring for him were found in a safely semiconscious state. There is a very small black handprint marking one wall in a way inexplicable to our scientific knowledge. The blackness of it is odd for it shines somehow even when no light reflects on i. It shows up in a deeper shadow inside a shadow." The LittleFatMan was suddenly sitting at the table almost as if he had always been there. "Please call me MrLFM as in Mister Little Fat Man. The rainbow hand, in the foolish psychic influencing mechanism put there by alteration of reality at a deeply fundamental level, shines in the dark. The rainbow hand is of the Rainbowbaby and the blackest black one is of the Shadowbaby. That is not their true identity or their true names; those are incomprehensible to this level of existence as is my own true identity and true name." Captain Cosmos, an aspect of the Mysterious Stranger, was also suddenly there almost as if he had always been there. He was dressed as the melodramatic super hero figure complete with transparent bubblehelmet, body hugging costume, areas of armour plating overlapping his shoulders, a pouchbelt with added items including a pair of comic type raygunpistols holstered at both hips being of two colours and with some other differences. Captain Cosmos spoke with an oddly quiet booming voice, a contradiction that somehow worked. "Captain Cosmos to your assistance but not, this time, with my majestic band of courageous followers-minions. Would you like some autographed 3Dphoto of myself and my brave comrades." Amata smiled. "That would be good, can we have 100 of them at 1mx1m size for the whole of Freetown to enjoy." Captain Cosmos smiled heroically. "Consider it done along with 100 positive raygunpistol kits, and 100 negative raygunpistol kits. Positive for healing, repairing and summoning; negative for hurting, damaging and desummoning along with other reflective tricks. The devices are supersolidstate and will not give away any secrets but should be very useful. They come with holsters but do not need maintenance. Amata smiled, nodded. "Thank you for you generosity, Captain Cosmos! How is Stella Skyfire?" CaptainCosmos sighed dramatically. "My erstwhile adviser is a tad too cynical, as per normal, but Lieutenant Cosmos is doing well as my second in command being a fine, smart, brave, buxom young lass." Amata did not respond to the term 'buxom' except for a soft sigh. She sensed it would be akin to bashing one's head against a hard wall to try to lecture him on 'sexism'. Others came into the chamber such as RiverSong, being also an MS aspect, Gaiamother Gaiafairia who was cured fully, Alisa and others. With so many entering the chamber, they moved next door to a much bigger chamber and were soon in full session discussing various important matters. The DC Brotherhood of Steel, the DCBoS, had five years ago sent their first infiltration, recon, units into DC through mysterious means. 1.5 years ago an airconvoy had arrived with one big aeroship, five airships, two aeroboats, five airboats, and eight very big, long range, vertibirds known as Vertipelicans. An escort of vertihawk, and vertieagle, combat vertibirds had come with them with the vertieagles being 1.5 times bigger than the vertihawks. Now a far bigger Brotherhood of Steel airconvoy had arrived with many more air vessels including big old subsonic prop aircraft, and long range helicopters, most likely taken from museums. They had moved into the partly damaged NewPentagon, that was only new in relationship to the OldPentagon, and had also taken over the CitadelDC, an advanced Doomswar fortress that was mostly underground and which had been surprisingly undamaged by the Doomswar and even the 3Doomsdays. The DC Union of Settlement had fractured into civil war between a large faction and an alliance of four smaller factions while some settlements had broken away. The DCBoS had occupied three of them, including Gatewaytown, but they had proven to be only interested in stopping others from doing the same, having strategic locations under their power, protecting Wastelanders and gaining some additional resources through very fair tributes. War had started in the old trench, razor-wire, and mined former warzone in the DC GrandMall or DCGM. DCBoS, TalonMercs, Mutantlord dominated supermutants and scattered other forces had begun to fight one another. Nobody seemed to even know what the fighting was all about as it slowly-steadily built up in ferocity. It was nowhere near the level of death-destruction as experienced in that same area during the very last years of the Doomswar. The EagleEnclaven were approaching slowly-steadily from the north as a large, well armoured-armed taskforce. They were not even close to DC let alone WashingtonDC. Superraiders, related to supermutants but being more human like, smaller but smarter and faster, had appeared in DC along with radraiders, savage radhuman raiders from the west but were in small though growing numbers and none had been reported to be inside the dome. Ghoulkind were being stirred up in the DCGM be they less dangerous radghouls, radghoulmans and even rarer radrhouls or more dangerous radghoulers, radghoulermans and radghoulders along with others not so easy to categorise. Much else was taking place of interest but nothing on such a grand scale as the main topics of interest. Yet they were far from forgotten.
Maharg67
:geek: :geek: :geek: 0.6[39] :nuke:   The Arisers had accrued, kept on accruing, Gamepoints being Experience Points, Action Points, Prize Points, Luck Points, Credit Points, Healing Points, Energy Points and Phase Points. Experience Points were not directly expendable for they boosted prime levels, levels and sublevels, each prime level being of three levels and level being of three sublevels. Upon doing so they mildly increased the speed of generation of all types of Gamepoints including themselves. Actions Points were spent in moments of intensive combat to buff up all abilities of mind-body-spirit and had already been used more than once. They could only be expended at such times and for such a purpose. Prize Points were spent, when a opportunity to do so was declared, on gaining 'prizes' but the cost of them was always quite high as in 13 Prize Points and such were slower to generate-regenerate than most types of Gamepoints. Luck Points could be expended to alter the outcome of events in a minimal but decisive fashion except that they were a double edged sword despite being weighted towards positive outcomes. There was also a chance that nothing could change at the expense of 13 Luck Points. Like Prize Points, they were also slower to generate-regenerate. Credit Points could be changed into local currencies when in those locations. Healing Points could be expended for healing of Arisers or others. Energy Points could be expended to recharge devices. Phase Points could be expended to carry out a wide range of phase related tasks or to boost phase type technologies, that is phasetech. But other types of Gamepoints would start to emerge. Each sublevel gained led to one general effect perk level of one outside perk. Each level gained led to one general effect perk and one outside chosen one. Each prime level led to three selectible perks and one general effective perks. They had just reached the ninth sublevel and next would gain the first level. Thus they gained, so far, nine general perk boosting abilities of mind-body-spirit but they had a good way to go until such gains had any real noticeable effect. Maharg67
   2.3[40]   Beatrice Armstrong used the Tarot cards, speaking of what showed up on the table, to MrShadow who sat fascinated on the other side of the round table with its mystical-astrological patterned tablecloth. The walls, of the apartment's commonroom, were dotted with fine pencil sketches of astrological nature or of Tarot cards or of mythological entities. Then she was done. "MrShadow I can not make head of tails of this reading for you are not mortal let alone human. Still, I have sensed that you are going to confront entities of great darkness, cunning, and evil intent. I had a most strange dream this very afternoon as I slept and I turned into a poem." She took it out of a pocket of her mystical themed apron and passed it to him. MrShadow unfolded it and then carefully read it. Then he looked at her intently having come up with a translation of sorts. "Stumbling figures, blind or deaf or dumb or all three or even none of these. They are always trying to survive in an ever slowly-steadily changing DemiVault101C. Areas become cold-dark, hot-bright or dim-cool or dim-warm but the changes are quite random. Armoured doors slowly open and close but have no external controls. Aaahhh, yes, people are seminaked and with only some basic tools to use. Rations, of varied kinds, come from dispensers that are mostly, but not always functioning and-or accessible." Beatrice nodded. "My powers are not reliable but my mindeye was strong during that dreaming. What will you do with that information, MrShadow?" MrShadow smiled coldly. "Beatrice, I will pass it onto the new Special Advisory Council, at they call themselves, but before that can we enjoy another delicious teapot of your herbal tea?" Beatrice smiled. "Of course you may, MrShadow." So they tea together while chatting about human astrology, which MrShadow found to be both highly fascinating and greatly perplexing. Maharg67
:pirate: :pirate: :pirate: 2.4[41]   Alisa and other Arisers, ElectraFalcon led MSers, MrShadow and three shadowmen went through a phase-teleport gateway, a linking way between two active phase-teleport gates. They moved carefully through DemiVault101C to find firstly disoriented, blind naked humans in a ever slowly-steadily changing maze like demivault. Areas would sometimes but isolated and sometimes not. Armoured doors closed-opened slowly but the humans had no way to control them. Areas changed from dark-cold right through to bright-hot, slowly-steadily. Dispensers of rations of food, water, medicine and basic tools were not always active and-or accessible. They lay curled up together or crawling in groups to seek our resources, some always clutching spanners or hammers or other tools that gradually grew more fragile before disintegrating into light dust. MrShadow was the one who detected the subtle, extra, evil of something there that had not originated with the brutal human experiment on other humans. He grew coldly angry. "As bad as this experiment is upon mortals, there is drawn here something from the Underworld that is feeding upon some of these humans and perhaps the other humans who observe the experiment's victims." The MSers sent the victims into safe, healing, sleep. Then Gaiafollowers came, with Freetownfolk, to guard and care for the hundreds of artificially blinded humans. Brain implants were soon found that could make victims blind or deaf or dumb or two of these or even all three. They also caused disorientation and paranoia amongst the victims. Then they found a big chamber full of rainbowjelly capsules each with two or more humans inside, preserved and kept safe even from the secretive evil or so MrShadow and ElectraFalcon both confirmed. Gaiafairia spoke. "The GaiaOrder would take this demivault as our major base of operations in DC that we need very much but also to take care of the very many victims that we suspect that we will find in this place. Do we have your support?" Davris, an Overseer Envoy from Freetown, nodded. "A diplomacy-trade treaty would be good between the two demivaults and we would like an inpost here as the GaiaOrder has one in Freetown." ElectraFalcon spoke. "The Mysterious Stranger will support you in this matter." Alisa shrugged. "Yes, we will assist, but I do not know if it is part of our Multiquest to do so." Then she realised that she had said something aloud, in front of strangers, that she should not have. "That is our mission of missions." MrShadow spoke. "One supports the GaiaOrder mission here and always the Arisers." Alisa was obviously surprised. "That is very good of you, MrShadow!" MrShadow gave a cold smile in return that was obviously a failed warm smile. "There is a far greater story, related to the Arisers, than you probably know of but that is better spoken of later. Let one just say that our support of you is well owed." ElectraFalcon hacked into the local network-systems, after opening up a heavily hidden, secured and armoured door leading to a small observation-control chamber. He quickly had all of the armoured doors permanently open in the area controlled by the hacked network-systems. There was no way to make doors controllable at the actual door locations. Then he made the whole area light, but not too bright, and at a comfortable temperature for humans. So the process went on, methodically, of going through area after area. There were two more areas full of rainbowjelly-capsules that kept two or more people, each, safe and secure but also semiconscious as in the first lot of such capsules that they had found. Then they found blackjelly-capsules with humans in cruel looking, black spiked armour plating over vaultsuits. The armour was marked with 'DemiVault101C' and 'Tormentors'. Each had with them a long, thin, whip and an electric shockstick with nasty twin spikes. Alisa poked a blackjelly object lightly with a tip of one power armour boot. "The Shadowbaby encapsulated the baddies while the Rainbowbaby did the same to those needing hope but they are both looking after the same thing. Helping both of them, and others, is a prime part of our Multiquest. This is something newly realised to all of us. We have reached our first level after going up through nine sublevels. After two more levels are achieved, then we gain our first prime level." They went on moving through the demivault, rescuing more people being sometimes blind or deaf or dumb or two of those or even all three. They found more blackjelly-capsules and rainbowjelly-capsules. They found no free roaming Tormentors until... Edited February 18, 2018 by Maharg67
Maharg67
   2.5[42]   Tormentors scattered as they were fired upon by the newcomers. They carried guns along with whips and shocksticks, being either 10mm caseless cartridge using autopistols or bigger, longer barrelled, submachineguns. It was soon clear that they were used to dealing with powerless victims but then why the guns? Perhaps they feared that which had encapsulated many of them in blackjelly-capsules. The wave of shadoghouls came racing into the chamber, rushing across it in a spreading wave. Tormentors turned, as the shadoghouls came from behind them, squatted and began firing on the newcomers. The expeditionary force began to fire over them to strike down the shadoghouls. At that moment a strange blackness of energy struck out through much of the chamber and in seconds was gone as instantly as it had come. All of the shadoghouls were vanished, including the supposedly dead ones, and all of the Tormentors were in blackjelly-capsules including the formerly, though briefly, dead. Except that the Arisers, being six humans, two dogs, six robots and one shapechanger, were all vanished from that chamber. Maharg67
   2.6[43]   The Arisers were all back in the Arisercube/1 but newcomers had come with them being the Rainbowbaby, the Shadowbaby, lots of small chubby-muscular monocoloured baby figures. There were also one, two and three chubby muscular baby like figures and the bigger the baby figures were, the less of them there were. Yet there were also about 200 others of a wide diversity of types of entity. Former HighOverseer Alphonse Almodovar was there being rejuvenated-regenerated. He spoke of giving much information to the Rainbowbaby through a Rainbosphere, of the Tazekind, that had willingly become a follower of the Rainbowbaby and her three reflective alter-entities. He had already contacted Amata, being pleased at her becoming HighOverseer of Freetown though he was not so sure about Jasmine being Security-Defence Overseer. Other Rainbospheres were along with Shadospheres, Greyzspheres, Lightzspheres and a few more unique variations. Chloe's group were now based permanently in Ariser/1, finding that they could visit Freetown very easily. They liked going to the Cafe101D, the new Freetown Central Markets, the SSVR Arcade set up for citizens including honorary ones such as Chloe's group and the Freetown Gaiaclave, such being bigger than an inpost or outpost. With mixed feelings the three humans were attending school in Ariser/1. Chloe walked along with a blacker than black chubby muscular baby figure in her arms being the Shadowbaby or at least one of his 13 aspects. She rubbed his back and nodded at his sleepy grumbles, mumbles and occasional moments of silence. While he was asleep it was not as a mortals would slumber. Chloe spoke words of comfort. "Of course none of it was your fault, baby sweetie baby." She had no real idea of what had happened that the small one was feeling defensive about. She came to a stop for visibly distant was an aspect of the Rainbowbaby bobbing up and down in the air, in front of Alisa who was sitting cross legged on a grassy area of the Lifecube. An aspect of the Greybaby was making an odd appearing structure of grey cubes, spheres and four sides pyramids that he melded, partly merged, with others in a careful pattern. He floated alongside the exotic instrumentality. An aspect of the Lightbaby floated above very efficient solar panels and much electricity was gained from her doing so. She was napping as she did so. The other muscular baby figures were mostly sleeping in clumps, often next to mortal entities or in laps depending upon their sizes. Alisa looked into the Rainbowbaby's eyes and said nothing. They were communicating in an amazingly subtle, and serene, way though not all of the subjects that they communicated or about could be said to be so in any way at all. Maharg67
   2.7[44] :ermm: :ermm: :ermm: The Tormentors were tormented by brain implants that hurt them if they did not regularly harass the official victims, experimental citizens, who were 'victims of victims'. After rescuing both Tormentors and ECs (experimental citizens), suffering differing temporary handicaps, they came upon a heavily sealed off area and behind it those who had not brain implants; instead they observed, recorded and rarely intervened with what was happening. These were a lazy elite of people who were mainly indifferent to the plight of both the Tormentors and the more numerous ECs. There was a terrible minority who enjoyed the pain of the victims, even gambling on what took place, but there was a concerned minority who did what they could for both Tormentors and ECs. The increasing attack by shadowlings, that turned ECs into shadoghouls, was waking up the indifferent and scaring the bullies while the radicals were sending out small groups to rescue both Tormentors and ECs from their brain implants. They were now named the Disruptors. The Disruptors were shooting heavy stun weapons at shadoghouls, knocking them down, they being a mixture of the elite radical reformers, former Tormentors and former ECs. With them were Captain Cosmos, Lieutenant Cosmos, five Cosmos Cadets, five Cosmos Robots and Jangles the Moon Monkey. They had provided the others with pulseguns that could shoot a variety of types of pulsebullets but they were not as powerful, or as sophisticated, as those of the Arisers. The fighting was one way with the shadoghouls falling with out even getting close to doing any harm. Captain Cosmos spoke to ElectraFalcon and MrShadow. "The only Overseers in this demivault are amongst the elite who are only a small minority of all official vaultfolk. The Tormentors are about the same number and the ECs are, as a population, bigger than both but the Overseers do not know just how many there are. The ECs are supposed to be sterilised but comforting leads to copulation and babies result with a surprisingly large number surviving. Why? There are areas that the Disruptors dare not go and those sometimes shift around. 'Something' mysterious warns them not to go there and rewards them, with extra rations, for not doing so. This has nothing to do with the Disruptors' actions. That something is helping to protect ECs, their inexplicably born children who become ECs, and even Disruptors. What from? There is something darker, more angry, more powerful, than the Tormentors or even the shadowlings-shadoghouls." ElectraFalcon spoke. "Is there a link between the shadowlings appearance in the fake DemiVault101C and this other, mysterious entity?" MrShadow frowned coldly, of course. "Foolishly, until this moment, I did not link the appearances of shadowlings in the two demivaults with the escape of five criminal monsters, and one criminal mastermind, from a Confinement Shadozone in the Underworld. The mastermind is a Shadowman as I am, but is known as MrShades, while the five monsters, that he barely controls, are powerful shadow abominations being left overs of the Doomswar. The abominations can create shadowlings though only in quite limited numbers. They are Atrazk, Etrazk, Itrazk, Otrazk and Utrazk." ElectraFalcon shook his head, just a little. "Foolishness or is it that the Shadoqueen has just given you permission to reveal such a sensitive matter to us MSers?" MrShadow nodded. "The escape of the six has been most embarrassing to the honour, and reputation, of the Shadotaze which reflects on us shadowfolk who are linked with them. The other Tazefactions are far from happy with the Shadotaze. I did ask permission, before this, to be open about such matters but it was denied by a nervous Shadoking who has now been isolated from power, being placed in a small regal prison for he has been revealed to be part of some kind of very long term criminal conspiracy. It is now feared that the Shadoking may have helped the six to escape from their heavy security confinement area. How did you know about the Shadoqueen?" ElectraFalcon spoke. "It was a guesstimation, a mixture of well founded estimation and looser based guesswork." MrShadow: "I will remember that word for future reference. The Mysterious Stranger has a strong reputation for gaining information in a seemingly impossible manner." ElectraFalcon: "Actually, one discussed such matters with the Shadoqueen." MrShadow frowned coldly. "Yes, that is no surprise, since one is seen as on the verge of being a maverick amongst one's people, one less commonly gets to communicate both ways with the Shadoqueen and never with the Shadoking; they send one way orders. Still one lives as one chooses to do. Such as the Shadoqueen see one as being very useful but ultimately expendable. It has been that way since the Splintering War." Captain Cosmos frowned. "Civil wars, by any title, often leave deep scars, and rifts, behind them. You are far from the only one to experience such harm."
