ENB Series does not work on Laptop

Neither the wrapper nor the injector works. The d3d9.dll from the wrapper version causes the skyrim launcher to crash; it says something like "skyrim has stopped working." For whatever reason, the injector version just does not work. The white text never appears on the screen, which indicates that it is not working. I tried downloading the directx june 2010, reinstalling every enb file, hex editor tweaks, and more potential solutions that I found on the web. If it matters, I am attempting this on a Dell 7577 model gaming laptop that has a NVIDIA 1060 GPU. Also, am running on windows 10. I have been trying to figure this out for the last few days, but nothing has worked so far. I was thinking perhaps my laptop is not compatible with ENBS.

Here is my load order. I just tried moving the skyrim game from drive D to C, did not work. At this point, I tried everything except reinstalling the game. The main issue here is that I cannot get the white text to appear when I launch skyrim when using the injector version.

Update

I never figured out why the injector version would not work, but I found out that the wrapper version works if I launch skyrim through SKSE. I still don't quite understand why I can't run skyrim through the launcher as it says "skyrim launcher has stopped working." A theory for the injector version is that my laptop is too powerful for it as it does not have time to start before skyrim launches.

It wont run through the launcher and you should never try run SKSE powered Skyrim through the launcher. Either let a mod manager handle Skyrim start up or create an SKSE icon and place that on your desktop.

My problem is resolved, but I would still like to figure out how to use the injector version to see if there is any performance difference. To test my earlier said theory, I switched to intel graphics. The injector version did not start. So, speed may not be the issue at all.

Only time you should now run Skyrim launcher, is after (should you need to) delete your ini files. That would be just to re establish default INI files. Never try run the game with it, fruitless exercise. On the subject of INI files install and run Bethini. You can find it here on Nexus You may also want to watch the attached video in the mod description.

Id stay away from the on board IGP an stick with the 1060, While it most likely isn't a full blown 1060 you'd find in a desktop it should be fine. Now make sure you install and USE LOOT. That will sort out your plugin's into the correct order within reason, Its not perfect but its better than taking a knife to gunfight... You can also find that here on Nexus. As you now know who Gopher is.. Take a peek at his Tutorial on running Tes 5 Edit. Again you can find it on the Nexus. Then learn how to clean your master files. If you don't you will come unstuck down the road. If you already know these things my apologies In advance.
