Kiki981
I was playing Skyrim till now on my laptop. But recently my laptop had some issues, so is in repair now. But I have managed to reassemble my old PC and I have two disk in it. So since my primary disk is slower than my secondary, I want to install Skyrim on on my secondary disk, becouse I read on internet, that slover disks can cause stuttering of games (specially open world ones as Skyrim) I decided to install it on secondary (faster) disk (with higher RPM). This wont cause me any problem, but I wonder, if I must also install NMM and LOOT on same disk as Skyrim, or I can install them on my primary disk? Any suggestion? WastelandAssassin
you can install these wherever you wantthe only thing is you should avoid using the Program Files folders , as installing things there could lead to problemsso you can install NMM and LOOT to any disk you want (I don't think it needs to be on the same disk as the games , for me it isn't and it all works fine)
virginharvester
to avoid conflict from one instalation to another instalation i suggest :1.delete all ini file in my document/my game/skyrim(backup first)(delete the folder is better)2.move(not copy) skyrim to destination(dont make duplicate)3.move all mod file to temporary folder4.play game via launcher until first save (until halvar say : ulfic strom cloak jarl of winhelm) to check any miss behavior5.close the game6.rescan nmm again7.restore mod (point no 3) step by step8.play game to test mod
