Which file to download

I'm new to modding. Which file should I download the one with the green check mark beside it ?

New vegas the mod is coito ergo sum

assuming you don't have any of the files , you want the one main file (the 4.00 file) and the update (4.02 update)

plus the optional files for your chosen male body mod (if you use any)

 

for the future , please note the categories

most of the time , you will need the Main File , whatever Update Files required , and whatever patch you need from the Optional Files (this is the general gist with most mods)

The checkmark is just an indicator for the virus scan Nexus performs on all uploaded mods. Green means the file has been scanned, white means it hasn't been scanned, usually because the file size exceeds what the Nexus virus scanner can handle (about 200mb max). Blue means the file has been scanned manually.

 

No risk at all downloading unscanned files: it happens on occasion a file has some sort of virus/malware. Such uploads don't last long on the Nexus, however. I've downloaded close to 4000 mods alltogether and never had an infected file.
