DragonMasterChief
I suspect it is my load order, as I just let LOOT automatically sort it, and I don't know a lot about what should be loaded before what. I have however followed this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/app/22370/discussions/0/828937546147175081/ and done every applicable fix. It seemed to be running smooth before i started modding, and my game runs fairly smoothly until it randomly crashes after about an hour. ff7legend
Have you tried following this handy guide: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74427/? Hands down the BEST damn guide here on Nexus/anywhere else when it comes to stable modded Skyrim gameplay. Easy to follow step by step instructions. Using the above guide, I can play for hours on end without CTDs/freezes with over 900 mods installed (200 plug-ins - several merged plug-ins I've made myself using xEdit Script - Merged Plug-ins version 1.9 here on Nexus). I know you're playing FO3 but the rules should be quite similar given the fact that is is a Bethesda/Gamebryo Engine-based game. Hope this helps. DragonMasterChief
Thanks for the reply, but the problems that make Fallout 3 a difficult game to run properly have nothing to do with Skyrim. I dont think this will help much...
DragonMasterChief
Damn, that's a good guide for Skyrim though, I'll have to go back to this the next time i have a craving for Skyrim!
M48A5
Your load list is in really bad shape. I don't see a single mod with multiple plugins that has the plugins in the correct order. The RH-FWE-EVE patch is not in the correct place. RH-FWE bridge is not necessary, you already have a patch for that. You either do not understand how to use a Blackened patch or you do not understand the instructions for Paradox Ignition Merge of MMM. Go back to you mod pages and read the instructions. Scroll down and read the whole page. I don't think you managed to arrange such a mess on your own. DO NOT USE LOOT. It has never worked for Fallout 3. Please explain 'no dirty plugins." I hope you did not use FO3Edit to clean any plugin. Edited February 17, 2018 by M48A5
DragonMasterChief
I did not know about Paradox Ignition Merge, can you explain it more? I just went to the page but if I use this mod do I still need Blackened? and I used LOOT to sort my load order, because I don't know what the correct order would be for these mods. Where can I find the correct load order? And yes, I removed all Identical to Master records from everything, and it didn't ruin my game or anything, are you not supposed to clean mods? DragonMasterChief
Oh yea.. I just noticed the RH+FWE bridge.. oops
M48A5
If you read the Blackened page, you would know that Blackened only works with the Paradox Ignition version of MMM. So, to answer your question, yes you will still need the Blackened patch. Use B.O.S.S. to sort your load list. It might require some manual placement of some newer plugins. It can be found here: https://boss-developers.github.io/ As for cleaning mods, I cleaned a mod once and after my game would not run, I had to reinstall the original mod files. DragonMasterChief
I have heard that cleaning master files, and mods improves stability, but some mods cannot be cleaned. And thanks for your help I really appreciate it. So I download mods, and then paradox ignition, or do I only need the version on paradox ignition page?
