Hello i am trying to uninstall Oblivion to free up disc space and it tells me i dont have the uninstaller on and to run setup again this message pops up can someone help me figure this out pleaseCaptureplease_upgrade_to_windows_98.PNG

You ran the setup from the disc and this popped up? Or when trying to uninstalled from your list of programs? You need to put in the disc and run it as if you were going to install the game.

That looks like some sort of securom disc copy protection error based on the link in the popup in the image. Did you also install the game from that disc using Windows 8.1?

I just asked it, because Securom is a disc copy protection system, and the message makes it sound like as if the copy protection system somehow would have failed to work. But since you installed it in the same environment, and it worked back then, I have no idea.

Sounds like Oblivion is half uninstalled. It can easily happen if files and folders are manually deleted.

 

Do you get this error message when you try to reinstall?
