Oh, spare the poor fellow. He has too much work to do here :-\

Yes, he does. But it's amazing that he still has time to reply. The point is, not just Lhammand, but many people on the forum have no problem with assisting someone via the PM's. And... they should be commended because ... do they reply "... bug off! leave me alone."? Nah... they :) help. So use it.. PM! ^ ^

Aoikani

I agree. I sent one to Maafiaman on a question he had for me.

I just want to say, please give details about your questions, I remember one topic, one poster just said, I cant get my mods to work... The post was just it... nothing more... Bben and I tried to answer that, the poster didnt even wrote down which mods are not working, which version of oblivion he is using, any expansions and such... please dont do that, give more details so we can help you...

Second thing is, I dont answer technical questions regarding modding and such cause I am no modder, hell I cant even get the CS working :D I looked in the tutorials but couldnt get it down, so I dont answer modding questions since I can't :D But I try to answer questions regarding crashes and lock ups... so please be patient with your posts and yea do try to research the net, if this forum cant answer, somewhere someone else can since the people here are not machines that know every little thing about the game (or maybe they do, and maybe they are machines... Hell!!! :D)

and Vagrant complains about my questions being too specific =.=

I think have understood what Vagrant meant by "too specific" there. It's not about being detailed, what is aways a good thing. What was said is about being specific over certain equipment, machine or even a video card not everyone have and knows about.

And this doesn't implies one must refrain posting the issue, maybe someone know about it or knows an answer about similar one, even if on different hardware. Just is probably such post may endure a long time before this knowing one see it, or maybe it is lost in the threads avalanche forever.

Edit: This recurs the problem of large amount of myriad already answered threads coming again and again and again... Not seldom I sought the same question answered over and over in less than a few days. The really new ones often get lost amidst those ever-recurring.

Much more time would be dedicated to certain issue if the NOT NECESSARY questions doesn't got in the way all the time (for not necessary I mean the answer already exists and was given several times)

Sorry for the double post, but I really want to say this:

The ones that think their time is so much precious to do a little search must be aware others can think their is so too and avoid repeating himself ad nauseam.

Such isn't a Tesnexus forum problem, it's a general one. The big difference is the Nexus is ever more lenient (almost motherly) with the lazy people than the vast majority of forums where such question kind (and their posters too) are summarily shunned and often get fierce replies.

I'd rather acknowledge the fact that my topic will not be answered rather than to wait for replies and not knowing if they're ever gonna be answered

I cant belive the community let this topic get hot, Rather stupid i do believe. And billypants, Vagrant is one of the most knowledgeable gits on here. Like he said, look around before you ask a question as it has probably been answered about 100 times.

Use the search engine if you feel a need to be specific as the search engine helps with specific things.

And quit complaining because your questions dont get answered right away. And quit talking smack about the good help around here.
