My First Work with Nifskope/Blender

Most likely, really all they do is make a few strips of metal or leather, and then mould to their disproportionately endowed body mod of choice.

I've actually been trying to make a set of armour for a while now. I say trying because so far I've just done the helmet. I'm actually scared of trying to model the chest armour.

Do or do not - there is no try.

Sounds like Windows Explorer decided to shut down, a simple reboot should help.

Each to their own - I prefer 3DS Max over Blender. Actually I prefer Maya, but there isn't a nif plugin for that.

I got 3DS Max up and running. Though, it doesn't appear to be able to import NIF files. Just the robe I exported into OBJ earlier.

And again, I have little idea what I'm doing, but I think I like it better than Blender.

I even managed to crudely separate the top half of the robe from the bottom half. Jagged nasty cut, but...more than I've achieved in Blender.
