huntsman2310
Most likely, really all they do is make a few strips of metal or leather, and then mould to their disproportionately endowed body mod of choice. I've actually been trying to make a set of armour for a while now. I say trying because so far I've just done the helmet. I'm actually scared of trying to model the chest armour. erad25
And...Windows just disappeared. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. No task bar, no desktop. Only wallpaper and whatever programs I still had running. Fascinating.
huntsman2310
Wow. Pretty sure installing 3DS max didn't do that to my computer.

Do or do not - there is no try. @erad25 Sounds like Windows Explorer decided to shut down, a simple reboot should help. @huntsman2310 Each to their own - I prefer 3DS Max over Blender. Actually I prefer Maya, but there isn't a nif plugin for that.
erad25
I got 3DS Max up and running. Though, it doesn't appear to be able to import NIF files. Just the robe I exported into OBJ earlier. And again, I have little idea what I'm doing, but I think I like it better than Blender. I even managed to crudely separate the top half of the robe from the bottom half. Jagged nasty cut, but...more than I've achieved in Blender.
