Better Lighting/Nights

I don't like the "nights" in Oblivion because they are to bright. So I was happy to find the Darker Nights Mod. But looking at the screens I felt that there was something strange, not knowing what. So I switched of the light in my room and realized it: In Darker Nights everything is simply darker similar to reducing gamma, but in reality you can't see colors any more at night - everything is gray.

But simply making everything gray at night wouldn't solve the problem, because bright things still have to be colored. It's the same with the inverted situation, a dark corner in the daytime where you can't see colors.

 

Independent of this a really beautiful feature would be moonlight, depending on the phase of the moon and maybe clouds.

 

So I hope that there maybe is someone who would like to create a mod based on this idea - the only thing I'm able to do with the TES Construction Set is adding some chests and simple items.

Happens this all the time? weather conditions can turn gray even the days in Oblivion, IC being specially vulnerable to this issue. What you ask is accomplished only with bloom or HDR since doing a mod to this would be making that HDR or blooming, and yes... exist a mod from TimeSlip that emulates software HDR for video cards that can't do shader 3 (sometimes it is better using "that" HDR than the real one, since it doesn't prevent AA and AF, even to ones that owns a VC able to do it) being the VC's ability to handle the load the bigger factor at using it.
